Jenia — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

Following the top rated score we decided to try this place, it was a lovely breakfast choice and if you have no food restrictions you would love it! It is your typical Tel Aviv style coffee shop serving really nice food, we had a really tasty tomato salad, the Avocado sandwich (Gluten free bread - disappointing as better GF options available than the standard option) and the Hatchapuri חצפורי (Fab), the coffee was perfect and visually everything was very well presented, it was tasty, quick to arrive, table were cleaned fast, lovely and knowledgeable staff etc. and it is clear that who ever runs the place know his work. Toilets could be a tad cleaner ( the Hostess was Semi-interested in my comment) music a tad too load and the cost per person was a tad on the expensive but it was certainly worth it and matched the experience and honestly the local market. Water were served as asked quickly, and our waiter was Lovely! Knowledgeable, caring , kind and simply cared about delivery good experience so well done. I know I'm weird about cleanliness and Israelis in general just DO NOT know how to take feedback but all in all we were super happy. To all people with food restrictions, this place really tries to deliver good food with care, just be super clear about instructions of what you can and cannot eat from the start and remind constantly, I do find this a problem in Israel and not...

Updating to summer 22 - there’s a new burger (haven’t tried it yet), the tomato salad was lovely, beef carpaccio also okay just a little drybut tuna ceviche lacked flavors a bit . Overall still a great place.

Summer 2021 - I’m always so pleasantly surprised from the food here! It’s really delicious and special, and the service is awesome! Plus I have to say the small burger is one of the best I’ve had in Tel Aviv (I know, it’s surprising, but just try it - you’ll see 😉)
