The last time I was here a few years ago the service and the food seemed better. Looks like as they are getting more popular they are cutting corners. I went to get the beef shawarma, but they were out so had to settle for the chicken shawarma.
Also seating is a major problem if you want to eat there. They don’t have enough tables and chairs and you are waiting around with the food getting cold while you wait. I ended up eating while standing which ruined the whole experience.
Lastly, I asked for 10 falafel (2 orders) and when I opened the paper bag, there were only 3 falafel. And when I went back to inform them they had given me the incorrect amount they were so busy they were not ready to listen to me. And then finally when I got someone’s attention they said they are out of falafel and I need to wait 10-15 minutes while they cook some more. I did not want to wait that long, so I just walked away frustrated and disappointed.

Read moreI stayed in Dan tel aviv hotel almost 2 months, I've been here many times just because it is quite close to my hotel. This place is quite decent most of time, but it really depends on the person you ask to make your shawarma. Some of them are very rude and not helpful. They wanna finish their job as soon as possible no matter customers are satisfied or not, sometimes they finish your shawarma before you say what you want inside. If you ask for it, they will add some more ingredients with a very annoying face. Especially avoid the tall Israeli guy, he gave me worst shawarma ever last 2 times. When this place is busy there is no choice to choose. I understand, but I will refuse him anyway next time. Well, there are bunch of Shawarma places with this price and quality in all over the Tel...

But guys, it was so worth it. The pita bread was divine. It was filled with a huge amount of shawarma. At one point I thought I wouldn't be able to eat the whole thing, but I ended up licking my fingers after the last bite.
The staff was friendly. Prices are not cheap, but for the prime location on Dizingoff Street it may be understandable.
Thanks guys for...
