In general, this is a nice place with nice food, but it doesn't fit the expectations made from the level of design and prices. The place looks and feels very luxurious, starting the location, the access, the design and the clothing of the employees. We came as a group of 4 (2 men, 2 women). One was with various limitations (such as gluten free and lactose free dishes). The waitress was very nice, pleasant and patient. We explained the limitation and asked her to create a full dinner for us. We agreed on the number of dishes and started. The starters was nice - Papaya salad (nice) and cucumbers salad (good), dual fishes (salmon/red tuna) fried sushi (nice). Then, we got the entrees, I actually don't remember what they were and I think it says it all - they were so boring, no special tastes or that "kick" you expect for. One dish was very good, meat in rice leafs, in onion soup and roasted onlions - this for sure was the best dish of this meal. When finished the food, we we're still hungry, so we waited for the waitress so we'll order so more. We waited for a long time, asked multiple waiters for service and they asked us to wait. Meanwhile, we asked for a big bottle of soda, which hasn't arrived, we asked for it from 4 waiters - and it didn't arrived. After that, our original waitress came to the table and apologiezed for the long wait. We ordered 2 additional dishes, according the information and explanations from the waitress, and a bottle of soda. Then the first one arrived, sprouts salad - which wasn't good to say the least, it was returned (and refunded). Then, finally we got that bottle of soda. Then we got some lamb chops (which include 3 units, and can be upgraded to 4 by adding 52 NIS) which was ok, with potato pastry addition which they separated from the lamb for our gluten free member. Then we needed to wait again, no one approached us to check what is up with us, to check if everything is ok, or to offer a desert menu. In addition, during the whole meal, even though the cutlery and plates was replaced once, the tabled wasn't cleaned even once. The deserts were ok, nothing special for good or bad to say about them. We ordered some alcohol, wine and cocktails during the dinner, which was ok. We also ordered espresso, without being petty, the glass was dirty and coffee spilled from the side. The total of the meal was ~1700 NIS, and we paid a 12% tip because at least at the first part the waitress was very good and she was caring...
Read moreTruly a five star experience!! We were greeted with an energetic dancer with a mirrored costume and the style of the restaurant is so contemporary and well thought out. The plates each had sassy descriptions on them and really helped the overall motif. There were two DJ's, an incredible singer, a spinning wheel of fortune and great entertainment overall! The drinks were bountiful and delicious. The best was the dinner. Course after course, each round was more fantastic and delicious. The fish and steak were the highlights but truly an...
Read moreA really fun Asian fusion restaurant. Glitzy staff and clientele, people watching is a worthwhile pastime. While Asian fusion may have fallen out of favour somewhat, when it is well executed and creative it is very enjoyable as was the case here. A crispy roll filled with confit duck and polenta was memorable, as were the sashimi and dumplings. A whiskey sour at the start of the meal was excellent. Sometime during the meal a dancer dressed in what looked to be a golden disco ball performed a couple of dance...
