This branch of Tiger Lily is absolutely horrendous. The service was terrible. The waitresses were aggressive and negligent, despite there only being a few tables in the restaurant. One was quite hostile when I said I didn’t want a certain drink. When I did order my drink, I had to do so on three separate occasions (they forgot three times) and they only brought it to me when I was almost finished eating. Moreover, the chicken in the appetizer that we ordered was not cooked - chicken should definitely not be medium well. When we told the waitress that our appetizer wasn’t cooked well, she went and asked her shift manager what to do and came back to tell us that her shift manager said that we already ate half the meal (we didn’t, we took a bite and saw that it wasn’t cooked well) and they can put it back on the grill if we want. When she saw that we were frustrated with her response, she allowed us to exchange, but only after she saw that we were very displeased.
When we expressed our concerns to the shift manager as we were leaving and gave her our feedback, her response was basically, “Well, you probably caught us on an off day. It can happen.” The food wasn’t good enough for me to risk another “off day” and terrible service. Will not be going back.
The Tiger Lily branch on HaBarzel is much better...
Read moreOn Monday I took family I had not seen for at least five years to Tiger lily in Sarona market . This was to be a special occasion but sadly was spoilt by the behaviour of their manager Ronnie at the restaurant. Apparently Ronnie was dissatisfied by the tip received at the end of the meal . He decided it was fitting to go up to our guests and claim a further 20 shekels! After his complaints they gave him 20 sheks immediately. Sadly, Ronnie decided that this was fair game even though we paid the bill. These actions were very undermining and embarrassing as he never even came to speak to us about the matter . In fact he approached our Israeli cousins speaking to them in Hebrew . We were unable to follow the discussion as we are not fluent in Hebrew. In the first instance it is not written that a 10% tip was conditional to dining at tiger lily Sarona. Yes the meal was excellent but unfortunately the behaviour of their manager Ronnie was another level. I have never dined in a restaurant to be confronted with begging action at the end of the meal . Ronnie needs to rethink his actions so he does not undermine the goodwill of the establishment that he is...
Read moreIt is one of my very favorite Asian restaurants in Sarona Market! First of all, it has beautiful design with authentic decoration & bright lamps. Second, every dish is a masterpiece here, cooked by the Thai people and kindly served by locals. Third, if you are not familiar with Thai cuisine, they have a tablet menu, so you can see every dish in real colors on the pictures and choose the best option for you! Forth, Tiger Lilly is very popular among locals so it’s better to book a table, just in case. The restaurant is accessible and it is situated close to the elevators to the parking lots. ACCESSIBILITY needs improvements here cause there are a couple of stairs to get to the main hall, and even once you are there it is little bit tight as for me for the wheelchairs to be placed, but I am sure the stuff will make it happen on your wish. Enjoy your time and food at this...
