Great food. Friendly service. Ambiance needs help. Filthy bathrooms.
We ordered and shared two vegan dishes: the tofu Szechuan and the Shausing tofu. The Shausing didn’t make me sing, but the Szechuan dish was soooo good! The flavor was balanced and had a bite to it. The cooks really knew how to put this delicious dish together. It reminded me of dishes I’ve had in Vancouver BC - it’s that good.
The service was friendly and courteous. The waitress was real sweet, which is a switch from what TLV used to churn out.
The ambiance was a little rough. The kitchen is right there in the restaurant, and all you can hear is the clanging and hissing of the cooking. On top of that, the music that night was a playlist made by disco school dropouts - the management may think it’s cool, but it’s cheap and trashy.
Although the indoor and outdoor seating areas were kept clean and tidy, the bathroom was a mess (not to mention tricky to enter, through a Star Trek-inspired sliding door). In such a quality and pricey restaurant I expect no less than pristine bathrooms that smell great.
I am always surprised by how restaurant managers don’t make the connection between proper hygiene and appetite.

Read moreAte here today after a while, it used to be considered good but now I consider it one of the worst Asian restaurants ever. Basic level thai food though not even close to the original Thai dishes when it come to flavors -bland dishes with over the top chicken soup and soy sauce dominating flavors. Ordered green curry with tofu, not even close to what you would get at restaurants like Thai house or Nam, flavourless coconut cream sauce with ton of peas and no veggies at all! The waitress was nice enough to replace my dish (though I didn't even ask, I just told her it's disappointing) what I got instead was even more disgusting noodle dish that had barely vegetables in it, even though the waitress recommended it to me because it's "rich" with veggies, well it was rich in soy sauce. My friend had a pad Thai which was the least horrible of the three but still pretty bad. Easily one of the worst Asian restaurants in tel Aviv in my opinion, if you want flavourless Thai food that is also expensive go...
Read moreWe ordered 3 sushi rolls, the "new!" chicken tandoori with rice, small Thai soup, and decided to try 2 of the onigiri triangles.
Delivary arrived at the exact last minute (at the 75th), and the delivery guy was rude enough to hold out his hand expecting a tip.
Soup was good.
Sushi- some was completely dismantled in the box; whatever wasnt seemed like it was prepared by a 5 yo- cut very weird; and the rice was very poor- broken and falling out of every slice.
Chicken tandoori- the rice was very bad. Too sticky and wet- and cold!! The chicken itself was good, veggies were over roasted- it had a very strong, ill taste of burned food. Portion was very dissapointing.
We payed good 264 NIS- which deserve a decent meal- and boy were we dissappointed.
I think you shouldnt order from them! There are plenty of other really good places...
