A perfect breakfast experience at Benedict Sarona! This place is a true gem for breakfast lovers in Tel Aviv. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, efficient, and very attentive. The staff made sure we were seated quickly and offered helpful recommendations without being pushy.
I ordered the classic waffle with poached eggs, bacon, and hollandaise sauce—it was cooked to perfection. The waffle was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and the eggs were beautifully runny. The bacon added a great savory crunch, and the sauce tied everything together wonderfully. Portion size was generous, and the presentation was Instagram-worthy.
The atmosphere was cozy yet stylish, with wooden tables and a welcoming vibe. Despite being busy, it never felt crowded or noisy. The attention to detail, from the cutlery to the clean layout, really stood out.
Prices are reasonable for the area, especially considering the quality and portion size. I also appreciated the diverse menu that caters to all breakfast cravings, whether sweet or savory.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Tel Aviv and want a top-tier breakfast any time of the day. Can’t wait to come back...
Read moreThis place thinks itself a center of the world, they don't let you order places in advance (at least at some days), you have to physically arrive and be added to a "waiting list", where you stand outside the restaurant waiting to be called for HALF AN HOUR. They don't provide enough of value for that kind of disregard towards the customer.
Also when we came as a group of 6 people, the waiter told us that he couldn't sit us, despite the place being half-empty, because they have only one table they could put 6 people and they can't join 2 tables due to some made-up reasons (fire hazard?). I recall being there in a company of 10 before, apparently the fire hazard depends on waiters mood.
Beside that the service is so-so, the food is good. The pancakes are very nice (but take 40 minutes to make). Not much that...
Read moreA wide variety of breakfast items to choose from, but it seems to be hit or miss. My SO on a previous visit had the croque madame and very much enjoyed it, however when we went together, we didn't have quite such luck. I had the English breakfast and she had the eggs Benedict with ham, my plate was a bit smaller than I expected for the price but was tasty, and hers was also decent, with a couple odd twists; namely serving the eggs on toasted brioche slices instead of the traditional English muffins. This was especially disappointing given that she was really looking forward to having a good English muffin. The dish was nice...
