Sho? - Ukrainian Traditional Food — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

Decided to go based on the replies and recommendations in the FB group, and because I am enjoying the Ukrainian cuisine as well. Was greeted by the hostess in Ukrainian (She asked me if we ordered a place), and after I replied her in Russian (which is my native language and I unfortunately do not speak Ukrainian), the face of the hostess changed to display the utter grieve and disgust, which I understood, considering the political situation, and switched to the Hebrew immediately. But the damage was already done and hostess said (in broken Hebrew) that they are very popular (despite being opened for only 4 days) and that the place is "by the order only". In fact there was a bunch of free tables (more than 4) and there was couples who spoke Hebrew (I am very doubt that they called to order a place in a very niche restaurant in the middle of Tel-Aviv). So unfortunately I haven't ate anything, but the overall impression of the place is completely ruined. Seems like you need to be Ukrainian to really get inside and enjoy the food, which from my point of view is...

I was there two days after the opening of this great restaurant in the middle of tel aviv. I couldn't find a better Eastern European/Ukrainian restaurant anywhere else in Israel and this one is is the best. The atmosphere is great! All the waiters are dressed in Ukrainian traditional clothing and the place inside looks very cool and Ukrainian, it reminds of an house in Ukrainian village, the music is very good happy and energetic + it's in Ukrainian. The food is great! I eated with my dad kiev chicken (kotleta po kievski) + it comes with potato puree, the meat was great and the potato was delicious! This might probably be the worst restaurant I’ve ever been in.

Food portions were small, and the food was very low quality. I went with two other people, they got their order in time meanwhile I had to wait for mine for an hour and a half!!

We ended up having to nudge the waiters, and it turned out that they just completely forgot about my order. In compensation they did give me my order on the house, but because of how low the food quality was it was terrible either way.

One last thing I want to mention, is that they treat food bloggers like royalty meanwhile tossing out ordinary customers. Them being loyal to food bloggers is the only reason this place has high reviews. There are way better restaurants...
