Suramare — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

Edited- review! This bar once was good.... An attitude from the staf and manager is awful. Year ago we reserved a table for 20 for the Birthday, in the reservation i admited that we want a candles or little fire works on the dessert- but at the place - we havent received anything and displeased waiter hasnt even sorry about it! This year on 11.08- I brought candles BY MYSELF and little firework for dessert and they forgot to put it in! Then bring the desert and I needed to ASK TWICE to PUT the candles that i gived to them! This place- has very bad managment and the staff i s Very tired to work.... and even tired to smile. The kitchen menu is the same for years- but I can't miss it-tasty! But you can find a lot of goos quality places in TLV- And Suramare is out of list!

המקום נהיה ממש עייף כלול מלצרים שעובדים שם, לפני שנה הייתה לי שיחה עם מנהל עבור התנהגות של עובדים ויחס- הוא תען שהכול אצלהם טוב! השנה הגעתי ליום הולדת עם זיקוקים ונרות משלי- וכתמיד הם עם פרצוף עקום לא עושים את עבודה שלהם! לרוץ על הטיפים- זה דבר היחיד שהם יודים! לא ממליצה...

Cool place for occasional drinks and food. Especially nice to bring friends and visitors from abroad, as the views are beautiful and the vibe/design is great.

The food was very good and cocktails were nice as well, but both are on the pricy side (small-ish portions).

The only 2 things that made me rate it a 4 were: The drinks came very very late, after the food and not together (we were 4 people).

Although considered "outside", the outdoor part is covered with a roof in winter, making it a closed space. For non-smokers like me it is not ideal.

I'm not even sure it is allowed to smoke there but I'm sure that even if it wasn't no one would have enforced it as the staff smoke there as well.

Even if you choose to sit inside, there is no devider between the two parts, so smoke can easily reach you.

Although the location seems a bit weird, and gloom, once you reach inside the parking lot and see the impromptu art show, you get the feel of the amount of hipster vibe of the place. Once you get to the tenth floor, after passing the first hostess, you are great with a giant balcony with lots of seats and tables around. The music is a bit too loud, but generally fine. There a few choices of cocktails, with a slew of flavours including one really spicy. The service is great, with rather quick response while being really nice.
