Wonderful experience in any aspect. We were three people. It's a little bit hard to order a table for dinner so we just came around 7pm without any notice, the staff gave us the option for an outdoor table but we preferred the indoor bar. The food was tasty and more than that, it was fresh (the shrimps - wow!!),clean and so unique and special in it's simplicity. All of that makes the place and the food very authentic. The service was great, the skilled and professional staff were very polite and gave good service without any show-off and annoying habits which you can find in a lots of other restaurants in TLV. We ordered a few dishes; for starters we ordered Yum Won Sen including shrimps which was really good and Nam Tok with sticky rice on side that was cute. For mains we ordered Pad Thai, Pad Siu and Kutiao Kua, the last two included shrimps. For alcoholic drinks they have a few Thai original beers, I recommend the lager Leo beer, and their cocktails are even better, you must drink one of these, I recommend the Khao Lak and Mei Hong Sun, both tasty and very refreshing, the second includes some Israeli twist with gentle Arak. For dessert we ordered Bua Luy-Bua Luy that was light and sweet. About the price, not cheap but also not more expensive than the average prices for a restaurant in TLV Bottom line- really good and very...
Read moreBeen trying to call this place for years. Nobody ever picks up. Walked in a few times? Locked up. A few weeks ago we finally caught it open. Inside was empty but the waiter says it’s “fully booked” and tells us to sit outside. Weather was nice so fine we gave it a shot. Food was decent. Not cheap. Service was meh.
Fast forward to yesterday. It’s boiling hot out. I try again this time smarter wanting to reserve inside. Miracle someone answers. But instead of helping she dumps me on some reservation app. I tell her I don’t use apps in Israel because they sell your info to scammers. Donations soccer teams spam you name it. She couldn’t care less. No app no reservation no decency.
Let’s be real. They want you sweating outside like bait so passersby think the place is busy. That’s not hospitality that’s a...
Read morePleasant place, pretty good food. Kind and good service.
The peculiarity is that they had a good number of vacant tables, yet they claimed with some drama, that they were fully booked and sat us at the bar for not having a reservation, when they ultimately let us in.
We watched many duos being sent away for having turned up without a reservation while the empty tables gaped painfully! For some reason they did seat one duo after initially sending them packing but lucky for them they returned for takeaway, so they separated one of the tables set for a ghostly four. The tables remained vacant right until we left. Peculiar, to say the least. I pointed it out to the hostess and to the proprietor (a really sweet chap) and they promised to address it. Hope they do. But I still wonder what...
