Above and beyond! We highly reccomend the Pfeffermühle to everyone visiting the Bozen area! The service, the food, the atmosphere - all amazing. It was so good, we ended up going two nights in a row. Great mains and pizza selection, you will definitely find something you enjoy. My husband is vegetarian, and when simply asking if the bruschetta involved meat, which it did, our server gladly came up with another mix of topping than what’s on the menu. Usually, when visiting restaurants we end up just receiving the same dish without meat and without any substitute, so the staffs initiative to make us something special, left us feeling impressed and so satisfied! 2024: Wieder 2x in der Pfeffermühle, wieder bestes Essen und besonders freundliches, zuvorkommendes und immer gutgelauntes Personal. Highlights diesmal Vorspeisen: Creste di Pollo, Kürbisrisotto, Spaghetti mit Garnelen. Hauptspeisen: Thunfisch im Sesammantel, Ribeye-Steak, Goldbrasse und Maishähnchen. In alles könnte man sich buchstäblich hineinlegen... . Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Urlaub in Eppan.

PS Mit Pizza liegt man zwischen 20-30 €/Person, aber man hat ja nur einmal Urlaub...

2020: Empfehlung: Man sollte sich nicht allein auf die hervorragende Pizza versteifen, sondern auch die anderen Gerichte der Karte versuchen. Die Karte der Restaurant-Gerichte ist überschaubar, was ein sehr gutes Restaurant ausmacht. Die Gerichte darauf, sagenhaft gut. Wir probierten als Vorspeisen Speckknödelsuppe, Vitello tonnato und das Bruscetta. Die Bruscetta-Variante mit Brot, Camembert, Honigmelone-Scheiben und etwas Sweet-Chili-Sauce bewirkte eine Geschmacksexplosion im Mund. Das Vitello tonnato kam verkehrt herum, die Tonnato-Sauce unten und das Kalbfleisch oben, ein Gedicht. Die Suppe sehr gehaltvoll und schmackhaft. Jede Hauptspeise war ein Highlight für sich: Saisonal Risotto mit Gorgonzola und Pfifferlingen, Speckknödel mit Pfifferlingen, Schüttelbrot-Gnocci mit Pfifferling-/Perlhuhn-Ragout und der hausgemachte Burger. Premetto che sono celiaco e, nel prenotare un tavolo, mi sono subito informato se ci fossero opzioni senza glutine. Mi è stato detto che potevo mangiare tutto tranne i primi e la pizza. Al ristorante decidiamo di ordinare un antipasto e dei secondi da dividere, una tartare di manzo e una entrecôte. La tartare veniva servita con del pane, ma il cameriere ci ha detto che avevano anche del pane senza glutine e potevano portare quello invece del pane tradizionale. Portano quindi la tartare insieme al pane, che abbiamo iniziato a mangiare entrambi, fino a quando una cameriera, dopo aver controllato diverse volte il piatto, viene al nostro tavolo per dirci che c’era stata una incomprensione e ci avevano portato per sbaglio del pane tradizionale invece che quello senza glutine. Io, che avevo già mangiato qualche fetta, mi sono subito preoccupato delle conseguenze, dal momento che, nel mio caso, anche solo la contaminazione ha degli effetti spiacevoli. Dopo poco tempo abbiamo deciso di andare via. La questione più grave è che, una volta arrivati alla cassa, uno dei camerieri ci ha chiesto se volessimo un caffè, un amaro o una grappa, nel tentativo di porre rimedio alla situazione. Io non stavo giá bene quindi chiaramente ho rifiutato. A questo punto ci hanno mostrato il conto, di 100 euro, a cui non era stato applicato il minimo sconto.
