MIRRor WINE — Restaurant in Acquaviva delle Fonti

Good location but quite disappointing food and service.

It’s a fancy place and I don’t usually mind paying a higher price for a restaurant as long as the experience matches what you pay for.

I visited the place in a fairly quiet weekday, the restaurant was half empty and it took them over 50 minutes min to serve our food.

Although the place was quiet the waiters were too busy chatting with some friends and kept ignoring us while we tried to catch their attention to order some more drinks and had to get up few times.

I appreciated the effort of the chefs putting up some quiet good looking dishes but they should try to put some effort in the overall dining experience that was sadly lower...

La location è bellissima e molto chic. Il menù cibo è molto breve, ci sono tapas e main food (primi). Abbiamo provato la tartare di pomodorini (la salsa era deliziosa), tagliere di salumi, il raviolo scamorza affumicata e melanzana (molto buono, ma non era un raviolo 🤣), la tartare di manzo (secondo me il pezzo forte, speziata e gustosa, buone anche le salse di accompagnamento), il baccalà, tapas con la seppia (nota negativa: c'era l'aglio ma non era indicato sul menu) e il tagliere di salumi. Sicuramente ciò che colpisce è la composizione molto ricercata dei piatti. Il menu dei vini è immenso. I prezzi sono altini ma non eccessivi. Le porzioni sono piccole, è più un posto per un aperitivo che per una cena (se si prendono le tapas). Un'altra nota positiva è la simpatia del personale....

What a beautiful place. The wines and dishes were perfectly paired. If you're looking for some fine dining for a reasonable price, this is the place to go. We traveled through Italy for 2 weeks, and this was a standout experience....
