Il Borgo Degli Dei — Restaurant in Agerola

Today was the second time we went to this restaurant. We were very pleased the first time, so we wanted to go a second time. Today's experience was extremely bad. Although we ordered the same pasta as the first time, a completely different pasta with a different sauce arrived. We mentioned this and they said the chef was different today. We ordered meat and parmigiana with the pasta at 18:50. It arrived after 1 hour and 20 minutes. It was so tasteless that we left half of it. Best food we had in Italy! After hiking the famous “Path of the Gods” we were looking for a great place to eat and this one caught our attention. When I say everything was delicious, everything was delicious. We had the parmesan aubergine (best I ever had), the Italian beef cooked to perfection, the baked potatoes and a plate of pasta with courgettes and fresh basil. We went here because the reviews on Google are very positive. It is out of the way but on arriving did not get the vibe. We sat down and ordered our food. Me and my wife ordered different things off the menu. The food was tasty but my meat had gristle and my wife's clams were tiny. The meal felt very underwhelming. After our meals our plates were cleared and we waited half an hour before some came over to see if we wanted deserts. We both ordered the cheesecake( different flavours). They were not nice at all.
