We are still sitting here in the Restaurant and I had to write this review before I forget - we had the filled squid and the grilled swordfish, and it is absolutely delicious. We also had the buffalo mozzarella and parma ham for antipasti - so good! Very friendly and efficient service, they speak english well, and the portions and quality of the food are amazing for this price (mains from 10€ - 20€). If we were staying here longer, we would definitely eat here again, it's an absolute recommendatiom from the heart!

Il ristorante Mirasole ha una caratteristica che lo rende meritevole di essere visitato, i fantastici quadri di Francesco Toraldo, un quotato artista contemporaneo nato a Catanzaro ed insediatosi ad Agrigento, capace di interpretare i temi del mare con grazia e modernità (vedi foto allegate). Francesco Toraldo, più che per le sue opere, ha però fatto la sua apparizione nelle cronache, in particolare quelle rosa, per il suo matrimonio con l’attrice (?) Nadia Rinaldi, che ha raccontato Domenica Live, il programma di Canale 5 condotto da Barbara D'Urso, la rottura del legame spiegando di essere stata vittima di svariati tradimenti ad opera del pittore, padre anche di uno dei suoi figli. Tornando ora al ristorante Mirasole, bisogna segnalare che i menù vecchi, rotti ed unti e bisunti, non rendono giustizia alla qualità dei cibi ed alla grande gentilezza del personale di servizio. Il mangiare, in verità, non è nulla di eccezionale, ma il rapporto qualità prezzo fa suggerire una prova del ristorante. Per gli antipasti sono da suggerire le Delizie di mare con spada affumicato, insalata di mare, cocktail di gamberi, cruditè di pesce spatola in agrodolce e, ahimè, salmone che c'entra come i cavoli a merenda; costo 14 euro. Riguardo i primi piatti, se il forte sapore di mare non vi disturba, vale la pena di ordinare gli spaghetti ai ricci di mare, 14 euro. Per i secondi la scelta può oscillare tra la Frittura del Mediterraneo con pescato del giorno, 12 euro, e il Calamaro ripieno con cous cous, 13 euro. Ottimi i dolci della casa.

Really really really disappointed. We have chosen according to others evaluation and when we compare to what we ate we doubt all the evaluation. I took the fish of the day which should be with grilled vegetables - it arrived with 2 sheets of salad and a tomato - 18€ 😱😨My husband took a pizza mirasole and it was overcooked and with no flavor. First time we are so disappointed in Sicilia… how can we do so bad with a fish and a pizza ?? I put 2 stars for the waiter she did her best I think! Avoid please..

Stunning location at the beech front, well presented tables, clean, tidy. Well spoken staff who spoke in English, seemed very popular and multi lingual to other guests who were dining here too. Fast service, well presented and hot food…. The food/taste…. Well, I could sit here and try and think of the perfect word… but I’m not going to waste my time…. I’m going to use my time instead to see when we can next visit with family!! FANTASTICO!

Brilliant food, lovely ambiance. We had this booked by our Sicilian tour guides and we weren't disappointed. The resturant was packed with locals, which really added to the fun atmosphere. There was so much Brilliant food it was embarrassing - we were stuffed after the starter! I'd definitely go back again.

„The place“ to eat sea food in San Leone. Really fresh sea food and a variety of daily fresh fish & Co.. The location is great and the service just exceptionally great. A need to visit when fresh pesce is wanted!!! We really enjoyed the ambiance and the restaurant is always filled with locals.
