A really good restaurant if you’re looking to try some very unique and interesting flavors as well as some of the most popular dishes from Arigento including the seafood cous cous and a variation of the fennel sardine pasta.

Very tasty food, but even with a shared appetizer we left hungry. Portions could be a bit bigger.

Other than that, we enjoyed our experience.

My husband and I had the pleasure of eating in this charming establishment after receiving the recommendation from our B&B hosts that are right around the corner. At first we were hesitant to go for non traditional Italian food and what a shame that would have been! The chef was preparing for the worldwide couscous competition so we tasted one of her couscous dishes, it was like nothing we had ever tasted! Absolutely delicious!! Sono stato stasera, insieme a mia moglie, in questo ristorante, e premetto che ero pieno di aspettative, di curiosità, dopo aver letto cose magnifiche su di esso. CHE DELUSIONE, CHE PECCATO!!! Siamo arrivati e, nonostante un certo vento fresco, erano presenti solo i tavoli all'aperto, la sala interna era chiusa e non fruibile... Avrebbero dovuto per lo meno farlo presente all'atto della prenotazione, invece nulla. Il mio giubbetto è servito a non far prendere freddo a mia moglie, io sono rimasto in maniche corte... Passiamo al cibo, unica nota non negativa: caponata di verdure nella norma, panelle con funghi e caciocavallo eccezzionale! Passiamo ad ordinare 1 cous cous con agnello, da Oscar, e 1 di pesce, ma il tizio capelluto con chioma canuta sbaglia, a prendere l'ordinazione e ne arriva uno di verdure al posto di quello di pesce. Morale, mia moglie per non far raffreddare il suo piatto, mangia da sola ed io la guardo. Quando lei ha finito, arriva il mio cous cous di pesce, buono, ma nulla di più. Chiediamo il dessert, ma hanno solo gelati o semifreddi... Per pagare il conto con carta di credito mi reco alla cassa, dove il tizio canuto che ha errato a prendere la nostra 'ordinazione, era alle prese con il conto di 4 persone, lo aveva sbagliato, ma non sapeva annullare lo scontrino, per cui chiede aiuto telefonicamente... La cosa va avanti per un bel po', ma ad un certo punto, rivolgendosi ai 4 clienti che attendevano ancora di poter pagare, dice "Scusate, ma adesso faccio il conto a questi due che sono anziani...."!!!!!!!!!!! La mia reazione è stata commisurata all'offesa ricevuta, ma sempre nei limite del vivere civile. Il cafone ha cercato di scusarsi dicendo che stare alla cassa non è il suo mestiere, che scherzava, insomma la toppa sicuramente peggio del buco. Se un locale non è in grado di far interfacciare i propri clienti con personale perlomeno educato che non offenda e manchi di rispetto ai propri clienti a titolo gratuito, penso che debba riflettere a fondo sulla sua mission imprenditoriale, in quanto saper solo cucinare non è sufficiente, c'è tanto ma tanto di più Ma evidentemente, purtroppo, non è quanto si è posto questo ristorante.
