I learned about this restaurant on the Find Me Gluten Free app and the AIC app! The food was delicious, service was great, and house red wine was exactly what I was looking for 😍 I loved the food and loved that even with a language barrier, I can trust their food prep and just say "celiac, gluten free" and point to the AIC symbol and trust that they know what they are doing! I did not get sick and I am so thrilled with the food and experience! Thank you to the chefs, owners, and staff for being AIC accredited and being a place I can eat safely with peace of mind! Your food is amazing!

Légèrement à l'écart de l'animation de la via Athénae, cette Trattoria vous accueille sur une discrète petite place dont l'aménagement récent emprunte au riche passé historique d'Agrigente pour finalement créer un ensemble séduisant. Attention, ceux qui choisissent leur restaurant en fonction du cadre seront déçus car la particularité de la déco de cette Trattoria est qu' il n'y en a pas..... Ici, pas de tableau, pas de fresque, pas de tapis, pas d' objet symbolisant une époque, un métier, une passion, non....Rien!!!!! Un sol carrelé, des murs blancs immaculés, un éclairage blanc créé une atmosphère un peu froide. Le mobilier est réduit à sa plus simple expression, des tables et des chaises! Vraiment, chez Terra Mare, votre attention ne sera pas déconcentrée par l'environnement. Seul l' accueil ( très sympa) et ce qui se trouve dans votre assiette saura capter votre attention. La cuisine traditionnelle de Sicile et les Pizzas font la réputation de la Maison, à juste titre. Le choix est suffisamment diversifié pour séduire les plus exigeants, sans être pléthorique au risque de ne plus être capable de garantir une cuisine de qualité. Le personnel est prévenant, le rapport qualité-prix très favorable et les plats généreux, colorés et savoureux. Cela compensé allègrement l' absence de déco. Foncez sans hésiter chez Terra Mare régaler votre estomac!!!!!!

I chose this place after looking for gluten-free options in Agrigento, and it did not disappoint! Everything we ordered - - caponata, local cheeses, pesto, a lovely dessert pairing oranges with pistachio gelato - - was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is small, cozy and looks to be family-run, with one kind and friendly server (maybe the owner?) taking care of all of the customers. Reasonable prices and relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere.

Saturday night and all the tables outside were taken, which was a shame as the inside is a bit bright and soulless. Some dishes were unavailable, unfortunately the ones I wanted, maybe because they were busy and their policy of using only fresh produce. However, what we did order was simple and well cooked local dishes. The service was a bit slow, but this was because there was just one waitress, rushed off her feet. Her name is Floriana and she was absolutely brilliant, very helpful and always a genuine smile despite her workload. Waiting didn't seem to matter. ...
