Wow. 0 negatives? Again first for our Sicily trip…

The place was packed with locals, authentic and amazing to be in a premium gelateria.

Cost? €2.50 for a cono, I think you can get 1/2/3 scoops all for the same price and as for the portion… well I was blown away at the cost of the cone and the portion size. One cone is plenty for two but with how amazing the Strawberry and Lemon was we had to go back and try two other flavours, coffee and chocolate nut.

Just perfect gelato, my only regret was not getting another lemon cone as the contrast between our first and second cone was too much.

Servizio pessimo. Locale pieno. Andiamo a indicare il nominativo per l'attesa e il cameriere scrive il nostro nome. Poi entrano due individui (evidentemente amici) e il cameriere scrive il loro nominativo prima del nostro. Facciamo notare l'"ambiguità" e lui mette una freccetta nella lista per accontentarci. Dopo 1 ora di attesa il cameriere ci dice se siamo disposti a far passare i due individui prima e noi (dato il modo di fare poco corretto) forniamo una risposta negativa. Ebbene, quello che avviene dopo è paradossale. Il cameriere dice "ok, però dovrete mangiare divisi, 4 e 4". Noi "Benissimo". Ci sediamo in 4. Si libera il tavolo accanto al nostro e il cameriere fa sedere i propri amici, dividendo in tal modo noi e accontentando coloro che erano arrivati dopo e che furbamente il cameriere aveva fatto entrare poco prima e, ancora senza tavolo, aveva fatto ordinare. Comportamento indecente! Dopo che siamo clienti da una vita e dopo che suggeriamo questo posto a tutti gli amici che vengono trovarci da fuori, ci vediamo trattati così! Manifestate le lamentele, il cameriere balbetta cose senza senso. Chiede agli individui di spostarsi, non riuscendo tuttavia nel proprio intento di "mettere una toppa". Inizialmente pensavamo che avesse fatto questa richiesta in quanto resosi conto dell'errore, invece no. Addirittura il cameriere si avvicina agli individui e gli dice "avete un caffè pagato". Che schifo! Ora, non si tratta di un cameriere giovane dal quale aspettarsi atteggiamenti così poco esperti e professionali ma di uno abbastanza attempato. Dopo poco si sono liberati la maggior parte dei tavoli, il cameriere, con un minimo di professionalità, avrebbe potuto evitare tutto questo malcontento, rovinandoci la giornata. Non si è nemmeno scusato. Che dire? Atteggiamento inaccettabile....
