Pizzeria Ristorante Boulevard — Restaurant in Agrigento

We are in an Airbnb down the street from this restaurant and the homeowners recommended the Boulevard. We are so glad they did as we had lunch there today after a tiring tour of valley of temples and I had gnocchi that was so wonderful. I asked for bolognese on the gnocchi and I was happy they were able to accommodate as it was flavorful and the gnocchi were cooked perfectly. My husband got spaghetti bolognese and it was just as good……

So good in fact we came back later for dinner and we split a Margherita pizza and caprese— both were very good especially the caprese as it was just refreshing. Our daughter had the grilled swordfish and enjoyed the grilled flavor of it..

We had a wonderful meal and Filomena at lunch was just fun, generous with her time and helpful. It is clear she enjoys her work! My husband is working on his Italian and she was really patient with him…. The food and our waitress Filomena made us want to come back. Our waiter for dinner, Manuela was also very good and quick service and also had a few good laughs with my husband… Thank you for making our last day (meals) in Agrigento so flavorful...

Quando presunzione e arroganza possono rovinare cibo e posto. In ben due tavoli vicino alla porta ci siamo lamentati della porta aperta. Ci é stato risposto che non si poteva chiudere perche senó il locale si riempiva di fumo😳. Rimasti solo per la cortesia della ragazza che ci ha servito ed a porta accostata. Dopodiché il titolare con fare presuntuoso riapre la porta. Congelati ci siamo affrettati a terminare ed andare via. Alla cassa gli faccio notare che se volevo mangiare al freddo sceglievo un locale con i tavoli fuori e che é un peccato, visto che la pizza è veramente buona, trattare i clienti così. Mi risponde che siamo noi locali che siamo esagerati e che lui é stato a Parigi e le cose vanno diversamente. Consiglio: tornatene a Parigi.

In merito alla risposta da Lei data: se non riesce a gestire l'aereazione del suo locale non puó mettere due e dico due tavoli a morire di freddo davanti ad una porta. Sia noi che il tavolo accanto (che poi si é addirittura alzato per andarsene) abbiamo piu volte rispettosamente fatto notare che così non si poteva stare. In merito al confronto l'ho cercato quando sono venuto alla cassa ed in modo anche da sdrammatizzare dicendole che era un peccato far fare quall'esperienza a dei clienti che hanno comunque gradito il prodotto. La sua risposta é stata quella di cui sopra supponente e maleducata . E le diró di più dopo sono andato a ringrazia la sua compagna cmq per la disponibilità (e che si é scusta come cmq dovrebbe fare chi offre in disservizio) e lei si é permesdo dal bancone a fare dei gesti come a dire lascialo perdere (me lo hanno riferito dopo). Quindi forse é stato meglio il confronto da tastiera che...

When you're visiting Agrigento, Sicily, you have to walk up a million steps and then back down those same steps or so it seemed. After a trip to the grocery store and those million steps my partner and I decided on the closest pizza restaurant, Boulevard was our choice.

We both ordered the Margherita Pizza, and it was just basic. The crust was good, the tomato sauce was tasteless and the cheese just basic, nothing special.
