Lampo da Ettore is a small pizza place. You order your pizza at the counter, take drinks from the fridge and wait for the alarm to pick up your pizza in the box. Eat outside or upstairs in the Salotto. It’s a very affordable place; we spent € 15 for two pizzas and two drinks. But most importantly, the quality of the food is excellent; probably one of the best I have had and believe me, in the 40 years I have come to Italy and having worked as a pizza baker in Calabria, I’ve had my share! Delicious authentic pizza trattoria run by Ettore (a talented owner-chef, certified in London and Amsterdam).

Ettore and his staff created a very friendly atmosphere and kindly attended to our every need, advising us on the menu in superb fluent English. This included dietary requirements as some of us were vegan and vegetarian (the pizzas can be easily customised).

The pizzas were of superior quality (the proof is in the dough!), as were the limoncellos and the coffee. They really do use great ingredients.

ACHTUNG BETRÜGER! Wir haben eine falsche und völlig überteuerte Rechnung bekommen. 2 Pizzen und Salat plus drei grosse Biere hätten ausweislich der Speisekarte ca. 27 Euro kosten müssen. Die Rechnung war dann 39 Euro, angeblich hat ein gezapftes grosses Bier 7 (!) Euro gekostet. Trotz unserer Beschwerde wurde dann einfach der Betrag beim Bezahlen von der Kreditkarte abgebucht. Am Ende wurden wir sogar beschimpft. Also: Besser meiden!!!

ATTENTION SCAMMERS! We received an incorrect and completely overpriced bill. According to the menu, 2 pizzas and salad plus three large beers should have cost about 27 euros. The bill was then 39 euros, supposedly a tapped large beer cost 7 (!) euros. Despite our complaint, the amount was simply charged to our credit card when we paid. In the end, we were even insulted. So: Better avoid!!!

ATTENZIONE TRUFFATORI! Abbiamo ricevuto un conto errato e completamente esagerato. Secondo il menu, 2 pizze e insalata più tre birre grandi avrebbero dovuto costare circa 27 euro. Il conto è stato invece di 39 euro, mentre una birra grande spillata sarebbe costata 7 euro (!).
