Terracotta cucina naturale — Restaurant in Agrigento

We went there for an evening drink and a snack. I have to say I will remember the atmosphere in this bar for long. Really tasty drinks and snacks, plus super friendly staff. They were nice and chatty, showed us local alcohol and everything was superb during whole evening. But the most amazing thing happened at the end of the night. They were already closing the bar, outside there was a rain that heavy like I’ve seen 3 times in my like tops, and because our B&B was far away they offered that they could drive us so we would be able to get home in this rain. There is not a lot of places that would do that. If I’m ever back to Agrigento, I’m definitely coming...

Locale proprio nel centro storico si Agrigento, le sue particolarità però sono altre. Quando ti rechi all'indirizzo del ristorante vedi diversi tavoli e alcune bottiglie posti sul lato e davanti, poi entri al bar per chiedere il tuo tavolo e mai ti aspetteresti che la frase "prego in fondo a sinistra", ti portasse in una chiesa e la sua uscita nella terrazza che si affaccia sul mare, con vista in lontananza della Valle dei Templi...l'impatto è veramente suggestivo! In pratica i tavoli sono sulla terrazza di uscita di una chiesa sconsacrata. Il personale super gentile, disponibile, attento al cliente: io ho un'allergia e si sono davvero fatto in 4 per trovare una soluzione. I piatti proposti sono davvero belli e molto buoni, abbondanti (almeno per il mio gusto). La pasta cotta al punto giusto, ricca di gusto, ingredienti di qualità. E cenare all'imbrunire, con il sole che si cala sul mare e le luci che si accendono, su questa terrazza, che rimane sulla passeggiata del centro, ma come defilata da un "cordone" di piante, ti fa sentire davvero in un posto riservato solo per te. Terrible place to eat, really surprised about its high ratings. After each one of us ordered a 16€ dish we were almost as hungry as before siting down, so we decided to buy a panini across the street. So paying 78€ for a meal and being as hungry as before is not the best experience in my opinion. This, without even mentioning that we waited for almost 20 minutes...
