The food here is amazing. It scores with flavours and price! The menu covers the meat lovers with delectable hamburgers (I can recommend the Caprino burger with its fig cream and sweet red onions) and those looking for a green fix. The Cestino di Capra salad didn't only please the taste buds with pistachios, goat cheese, melon, and the sweetest fresh tomatoes, but it also wowed the eyes. It was a work of art. Amazing. Perfect place to stop for a drink and something to eat either before or after going to the Valley of the Temples. I stopped before and ordered a slice of Pizza and an Arancini - both of which were warm which goes against what some of the other reviews have said costing around €4. After I was done at the Valley, I came back and ordered a sandwich (€2) and a litre of draught beer (€10). Of course, that is quite a lot for beer but it is difficult to find somewhere that serves cold draught beer, and so I was happy to pay it. A very good option for a healthy, filling lunch or a lighter dinner. They have lots of little fried bites (I had a small order of panelle, of fried chickpea bread) along with hamburgers, focaccia and salads that are served in crispy, seedy bread bowls. When you’ve had all the pizza and pasta you can take, stop here for something fresher and more casual.
