Owner is a real a*hole. Saw several people (Italians and foreigners) have to leave the place because he was being aggressive and confrontational with them. Owner also complained loudly about tourists from various countries, assuming they don't understand Italian. He was *ok with me but his behavior with others ruined the experience. 2 stars because the sandwich was pretty good.

Great hole in the wall bakery for traditional focaccia style breads to take away. We had one €5 piece between 2 of us, which they heated and served in 2 separate open ended parcels. There were a few small tables outside but we walked 2 mins to a small park and enjoyed our lunch...

If you go late at night, you’ll get great focaccia and entertainment. It’s a crowded walk up window, but the line goes fast. And the dude and his wife (?) working the late shift are having as much fun as the customers. It’s fun and it’s good and not expensive!

Il mio posto preferito ad Alba per mangiare finalmente una focaccia farcita e/o non oltre alla squisita pizzetta tonda al tegamino. Croccantezza e morbidezza al tempo stesso con una qualità assoluta nella scelta degli ingredienti. Porzioni sontuose in proporzione al prezzo. Da provare e da tornarci subito dopo. Piccolo ma grandissimo al tempo stesso. Che dire se non: "Porcu belin!" Garantito e cinque stelle sono davvero poche. Almeno undici! Andreas

Che dire... Giancarlo da Zena è un maestro assoluto nel campo dei lievitati. Deliziosa ogni sua invenzione con una scelta da lasciare interdetti. Il mio posto preferito ad Alba per mangiare finalmente una focaccia farcita e/o non oltre alla squisita pizzetta tonda al tegamino. Croccantezza e morbidezza al tempo stesso con una qualità assoluta nella scelta degli ingredienti. Porzioni sontuose in proporzione al prezzo. Da provare e da tornarci subito dopo.
