Focacceria DA BAKERY — Restaurant in Alghero

I love focaccia and always on a mission to find the good stuff. So after trying all the options on my Sardinia trip this one came out on top! So many places seem to serve plain old bread rolls as focaccia??

This is the real deal with a range of simple toppings and a little oil, nicely chewy and even lasted well overnight. Service was very friendly / charming.

Amazing bakery. Best in Alghero.. possibly in Sardinia.. Not only were the focaccias and other bread were warm off the oven. The owners (twins, I don’t know which one) hospitality truly sets them apart. Definitely a must stop in Alghero. Some places when you travel you feel coldness from the people. Here you feel warmth and welcomed. Made the trip that much better. Grazie Mille!

Honestly the most amazing focaccia. It’s very simple so don’t go expecting huge amounts of toppings, but you will love it. The zucchini and formaggio was so good we went back and bought another slice. Perfect balance of oily, salty and fluffy.
