Really good food! Flavourvise a five star place but some little things took one star away. We ordered melon and Parma ham and insalata mista for starters. They came really quickly and were delicious (and generous portion size!). For main course I took pasta with rucola pesto and clams. My boyfriend ordered pizza diavola. Both tasted really good (almost could say the best pizza I have tasted in a long time). But my clams had sand in them!! That's a no-no for me 😅 and the pesto was a bit too oily coz the last pastas were swimming in it. But flavour was really good!! And timing... My pasta came almost 10 minutes before my boyfriend got his pizza. That's annoying. We had mostly this really good waiter that was trying to fix other waiters mistakes (a waitress that brought the pasta forgot to bring a plate for clam shells and the pizza. She also brought us the wrong tables bill 🙈😅). Our waiters effort almost got them 5 stars back. Will definitely try this place again.

Quarté Sayal offers apartments, a restaurant and a meeting area. I stayed there 4 nights and tried the restaurant once. I had the smallest apartment, but it was still extensive. I liked the space. It had a slanted ceiling, thick wood beams and skylights. But the apartment that I had was in need of a renovation, a furniture upgrade, a better equipped kitchen and a washing machine. If those were to be carried out, it will become suitable for longer stays. If not, it's still OK for a short stay. The restaurant is pricey, but the food is well prepared, presented and served. I would eat there again. The building once housed what looks like a monastery around a courtyard. The church is still clearly visible.

Wir waren heute als Familie (4 Personen) aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen in diesem Restaurant. Der Laden war gut besucht, was grundsätzlich ein gutes Zeichen ist. Leider entsprach unsere Erfahrung nicht dem, was wir erwartet hatten. Nachdem wir vom Kellner an den Platz geführt wurden, wurden wir längere Zeit ignoriert. Erst auf Nachfrage erhielten wir Menükarten – allerdings nur drei für vier Personen. Weitere Karten wurden uns trotz offensichtlichem Bedarf nicht gebracht, obwohl der Kellner mehrfach zu uns herübersah, während wir zu zweit versuchen mussten, uns eine Karte zu teilen. Der Kellner wirkte aus unserer Sicht wenig serviceorientiert. Auf meine Frage nach frischem Fisch wurde mir der „Fang des Tages“ präsentiert – drei verschiedene Fische. Als ich nach dem Preis fragte, ging der Kellner ins Restaurant. Ich hörte dort, wie irgendetwas mit „zwanzig “ gesagt wurde, mir gegenüber wurde dann jedoch „45 €“ genannt. Es wurde weder gewogen, noch gefragt, welchen Fisch ich möchte – obwohl die Fische sichtbar unterschiedlich groß waren. Deshalb habe ich stattdessen Tintenfisch mit Pommes bestellt. Die anderen Gerichte in unserer Runde waren Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, Spaghetti mit Muscheln und ein Seeteufel. Die Getränke kamen teilweise falsch – uns wurde das falsche Wasser gebracht. Anstatt einer einfachen Entschuldigung sagte der Kellner, es sei der Fehler seines Kollegen gewesen. „Als Gast interessiert mich das nicht – eine ehrliche Entschuldigung hätte gereicht.“ Zum Essen: Der Tintenfisch war „offensichtlich nicht frisch“, ziemlich ölig und „leider eher geschmacklos“. Die Spaghetti Frutti di Mare wirkten „nicht besonders frisch“ – sowohl die Meeresfrüchte als auch die Tomatensauce hatten geschmacklich eher etwas von vorbereiteten Zutaten. Der Seeteufel war dagegen „ganz gut gemacht“, und auch die Pommes waren in Ordnung. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfanden wir als „nicht gerechtfertigt“, vor allem im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen in der Umgebung – nur wenige Straßen weiter. „Wir würden das Restaurant nach dieser Erfahrung nicht noch einmal besuchen.“
