Kelu Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Alghero

Found this little gem just 5 minutes from our apartment! Had breakfast there most mornings during our stay!! Beautiful sea view and relaxing music! The young woman working behind the bar was amazing I'm just sorry I didn't get her name!! She gave us food recommendations for Alghero and also recommended different types of foods local to Alghero itself she was incredibly helpful and friendly!! We had paninis and pastry with coffee most mornings and I have to say the food was reasonably priced and also tasted good!! I regret now not having taken a picture of the wine they poured us. It was just embarrassingly small.

At first we didn't say much because we had just arrived in Alghero, after years living abroad, and so weren't sure about how much wine would go in a normal glass.

But after having been in a series of other places in the following nights, I can confidently say they took advantage of us as they poured us the equivalent of a shot of spirit of a mediocre wine. Il locale ha del potenziale, PECCATO per il PERSONALE INEDUCATO SCORTESE E PER NIENTE GENTILE. Locale con non troppe persone il giorno giovedì 19 Agosto, ma le cameriere evitavano i clienti appena seduti. Noi eravamo seduti lì da ben 20 minuti, abbiamo chiesto di ordinare ad una cameriera di passaggio ( non stava servendo ai tavoli) ed ha risposto dicendo che la zona in cui eravamo era seguita dalla sua collega, rispondendo con "eh, arriva" scuotendo le mani come se fosse spazientita. Poco professionale e pessima figura per il locale. Mi spiace ma non ritornerò di sicuro per essere trattato male dal personale. A ME DISPIACE CHE QUESTO POSTO ABBIA UN TITOLARE COSÌ BASSO DI LIVELLO DA RISPONDERE SENZA NESSUN RISPETTO A CHI METTE RECENSIONI.
