La Mezza Luna Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Ancona

We visited this restaurant with our family of four. We ordered spaghetti vongole, spaghetti pomolodo, spaghetti carbonara, four ingredient pizza, eggplant melanzane, tiramisu and house wine. All were excellent. The vongole sauce, in particular, was moderately salted and nicely thickened. The carbonara also had a good mix of flavours from the pancetta, parmesan and black pepper. These paired wonderfully with the white wine. The tiramisu had a wonderful balance between the moderately sweet cream at the top and the firm sweet cookie at the bottom. I was in Italy many many times in my life. A this restaurant is my absolutely worst experience. I have one advice for owner (free of charge..) - close it or sold it. You are not good person for this business. You are shame of excellent great Italian cousise and restaurant business. Your pizza would be poor even in my country, where we have bad cuisine culture (and we don´t know make italian food of course...). Wine? To much sulfur - I had heartburn. A price "politics"? We do not recommend. We were in many main restaurants in Ancona during this trip, but this is the only restaurant that left a negative impression. Pizza is the most ordinary, in the restaurant it was hot. but the worst thing is that we paid a tip for little kids who ate half a slice of pizza. in the end, the tip cost almost as much as the main course and took up a third of the total bill. it's theft! in other restaurants for our small children, we did not pay anything.
