The environment was fantastic, I didn’t expect such a long queue! They have seats outside and also in the restaurant. We ordered pizza, sushi, steaks and I had my Risotto and I wasn’t very convinced that I would like it as I haven’t found many places making “good risotto”. I’m not Italian but I’ve been around and this place does make a good risotto! It was a bit on the salty side but I have no complain. My husband said his pizza was ok but the steak was good. I assume this is more like a place for proper dishes, not pizza. We didn’t try the desserts as we were full and we had Crema di Melone, Crema di Banana and Crema di Arancia. Oh boy, the melon one got me! It was soooo good! Unfortunately I didn’t take many photos, I was enjoying the food.

The pasta with clams ( Strigoli con Gambetetti , Vongole e Fiori Di Zucca s.d. ) is amazing which is the best pasta what I have right now . I really hope I could have same pasta in Sydney , it's so nice . We so order one seasonal special seafood , it so nice as well . There is a elder waiter wear black glasses who can't speak English but he is so nice , always serve you nicely and with patience . Excellent experience at this restaurant & good price as well not any hidden fee .

This wasn't our first choice in Ancona but we ended up here (without a booking) and couldn't be happier. It was an exquisite meal highlighting the seafood of the region, wonderfully prepared and served perfectly. We started with the Tuna Tartare and the Soup of prawn and squid with beans. This was followed by the first course of the sea bass ravioli and the strozzapreti (pasta) with peeled scampi and asparagus in a pecorino cheese light sauce. All accompanied by a lovely local white Verdicchio wine. No room for a second course or even dessert but from what we saw served to others, they looked great. It was finished with a complementary trio of limoncello, pistachio and licorace liqueurs. One out top meals of the year!!

Ci sono stato domenica sera, dopo aver prenotato il giorno prima, un tavolo nella zona esterna. Siccome il locale è molto apprezzato ad Ancona, la prenotazione direi che è obbligatoria per non avere sorprese. Il locale è molto grande e ben arredato, una location sicuramente piacevole. Molto pulito e con tanto staff che lavora bene e velocemente. Personalmente la mia esperienza con la cameriera che ho avuto nella zona dove ero seduto io (una bella ragazza) non è stata delle migliori, sono stato praticamente "sedotto e abbandonato", quando la ragazza ha visto che ero sazio e non avrei mangiato altri piatti praticamente non mi ha più rivolto la parola, mentre fino a prima mi aveva dato idee per i piatti e proposto vino da prendere (perché la sua amica aveva disegnato l'etichetta per la bottiglia). Di questa cosa ci son rimasto male, in quanto avrebbe potuto continuare ad essere sorridente e gentile anche per la mia permanenza nell'ultima mezz'ora. Tornando al ristorante, il cibo è poco da contestare, buono e ben cotto, in tutto quello che ho provato. Ho iniziato con una tartara di manzo poco condita e con uno strato di cipolla secca di sopra, una vera bontà. Poi ho deciso di prendere il "poker di carni", e anche li, è stato tutto come deve essere, buono e cotto benissimo. Anche la julienne di verdure era buonissima. Ho fatto solamente fatica a finirlo in quanto c'erano quattro bistecche di diverso tipo, e siccome avevo iniziato con la tartara (come d'altronde consigliatomi dalla cameriera), ho finito tutto solamente perché la carne sul piatto non si lascia mai. Il vino rosso del Conero della casa l'ho apprezzato veramente, ma era anche ottima la variante che la cameriera mi ha chiesto di provare. Del resto ho preso una bottiglia d'acqua, una grappa per concludere che era pure molto valida. Il posto è chiaramente un locale di successo, era pieno di gente e senza prenotazione nom avrei trovato dove sedermi. Se dovessi tornare ad Ancona ci tornerei volentieri, magari in un altro angolo del locale sperando in un cameriere più onesto e meno addestrato a proporre piatti e bevande. Locale veramente valido. Bravi.

The food and the service was amazing. The atmosphere was top-notch and the wait was minimal. My plate was a Grilled Salad which had grilled chicken, lettuce, zucchini, among other veggies and cheese. It was very filling and delicious. This was a last-minute stop after attempting several other places that were all full or required reservations. We were lucky and very happy and satisfied. I recommend this place to everyone. Also…. They have an English menu which is very helpful.

It might be some cultural differences in my review since this is a very local restaurant and I am a foreigner, but the waiting time and the effort to make someone notice you made the experience not so great. The place is very nice itself, food wise it was good, specially because of the price which is really fair, but nothing that I will remember for a while, again I might have chosen not so great dishes.
