Ciccio e La Ristogatta — Restaurant in Anguillara Sabazia

Food was excellent. Service was a disaster. Once the food came the waiters forgot us. Asked about 5 times for cheese and never arrived and had to get the bill myself since it never arrived.

My reply to your comment is. Your restaurant was not fully booked on the day it was half empty. The person who served us we asked him for cheese and after asking many times he came with an empty bowl asking if this was ok for us. Kindly note that when he arrived we where ready from our food. Please note that in Italy the restaurants have the olive oil and bread on the table to take and its free.

Reading your comments below I can also confirm that the owner is arrogant. Many thanks on your advice to book before especially given that the restaurant was half empty and the only one which took us in without a booking. Anyways food was great service...

My sister and brother-in-law had their wedding reception here for around 50 people from Canada and it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect from the views of the lake, the service, and the food…it was just incredible. You can tell Daniele really cares about her restaurant and her guests. She personally explained to us where the recipes originated from. All the food is local and fresh and some recipes were even passed down from her family. The food was the best that I had while in Italy. I’m a vegetarian too and the options were amazing. I also love that the restaurant is cat themed, bonus points for that. Thank you Daniele from the bottom of my heart for an amazing night that we will never ever forget, I hope to return one day!...

An amazing evening!!! The food, the wine, the service and the atmosphere were all 5-star! The staff was especially courteous and the owner, Daniela was patient and passionate about the food and wine that they served. She took the time to explain, in detail the ingredients and the origins of each dish. This is how you know the food is made with love! I have never even heard of ravioli filling having lemon zest and being served with sea bass... breathtakingly good! The wine, a local sauvignon blanc paired perfectly with the meal, but was equally delightful on its own. Just a perfect evening on all fronts, but the hospitality and "famiglia" feel that Daniela exudes is what really tied it all together. ...
