Il Gusto dei Tempi Nostri — Restaurant in Anguillara Sabazia

The last resort venue. I decided to go here based on the reviews which were mixed.

Staff were welcoming. For the food: the supposedly Argentinian streak was not seasoned and the potatoes were heavily over seasoned. Please be aware the mushrooms served with the steak are from the tin, of terrible quality and soggy. The steak had a lot of grissle on it.

My complaint about the mushrooms were "nodded" to. I accepted this was just one of those places and meals I would not revisit in this lovely town.

When it came to card payment problems the staff immediately called the manager to challenge my ability to pay. This went on for a number of minutes until they accepted it was their card machine.

The appalling rude behaviour at the end of the dinner was my call to write the review.

This is a fabulous town with a number of good places to eat and enjoy, avoid...

The place was below average. The meat looked good, but as vegetarians, we didn’t try it. The dishes we did have were mediocre.

The biggest issue was the waitress’s dismissive attitude. We had a pizza that didn’t feel like we were in Italy, tasty broccoli, and fried fish—one piece was cold in the middle and undercooked.

She accidentally brought us the wrong fried dish. We only cut into it and I took one bite. After we told her it was a mistake, she apologized and eventually brought the correct order. Still, she didn’t remove the wrong dish from the bill. When I asked, she agreed but made faces and claimed we ate it—which wasn’t true. Even if we had, it’s not acceptable to charge customers for a server’s mistake.

We ended with a pistachio soufflé that felt store-bought (probably from Lidl) and reheated—like the rest of the meal,...

Purtroppo la ottima qualità del cibo non rispecchia la qualità del servizio del locale.

Pro: cibo delizioso non c’è male sono stato in molti ristoranti a roma e devo dire che il cibo qui è ottimo. Il prezzo è nello standard sia per il fatto che è in situato in un borgo bellissimo.

Contro: ho notato che il servizio non è “equo” per tutti, il tavolo vicino al nostro è stato servito con una bistecca già tagliata dal cameriere/cucina senza nessuna richiesta, forse per gentilezza da parte del loro cameriere..…mi è dispiaciuto fare richiesta al cameriere di poter avere lo “stesso servizio” per poi ricevere una reazione scocciata da parte di quest’ultimo. Sono rimasto sorpreso anche dal fatto che il cameriere che ci ha servito non è riuscita a dividere il conto in 2 nonostante abbiamo pagato con il bancomat, ci è stato detto che lo scontrino è stato già fatto. Ho lavorato anche io con i POS in differenti locali, e sinceramente non trovo tutta questa difficoltà nel avere un conto separato.
