We booked a table on a Monday, at 2000. We were there at 2000 exactly, 5 adults 2 kids, the restaurant was empty at the time with the exception of one other table. Despite the waiter getting our order immediately, after 45 minutes no sign of food, not even for the kids, simple pasta with no sauce. In the mean time other people arrived and got served. So we asked for bread which should have been on the table from the very beginning. After multiple reminders, we finally got our appetizers at 2115, still no bread, incrediby, kids food was wrong, how can you even mess up a simple pasta is a mystery. We got the bread several minutes after we had finished eating. The main course, which we order together with the appetizers, never made it to the table, in the mean time several people had come and go. So finally at 2145 we gave up and decided to leave. Read moreWe went on a day trip to Anguillara from Rome and stayed for dinner. We came across this very cute and ambient fish restaurant and sat down at a table next to the lake. The owner served our table and was very friendly and helpful. We shared a primi and both had a fresh fish for secundi; simple but amazing food! However, after we finished our nice bottle of wine, we noticed that we missed the last bus back to the train station! Because it’s a 4km walk, the owner of the restaurant offered that his mother (who was kindly doing some administration work in the restaurant at the moment) could give us a ride! At first we refused, but eventually we let her bring us for a small price. What an experience and most of all; what a service! Would highly recommend coming here, we’ll definitely come back...

Iniziamo con un cartoccio de moscardini che lì per lì a guardallo m'aveva pure fregato, poi l'ho rovesciato nel piatto e ve giuro erano 7. SETTE moscardini. L'ho contati co le dita mie; mo non vojo fa er purciaro ma un euro a moscardino me sembra un po' tanto dato che erano pure piccoli. Arrivano poi sti tagliolini de lago che erano un tantino sciapi ma, lo capisco, er tocco de sale è come 'a signora: a ognuno piace 'a sua ma oggettivamente qualche minuto de troppo de cottura ce l'avevano. Poi er tagliolino scotto tende ad accollasse. Continiuamo co sto "polpo rosticciato con maionese ai lamponi e salsa verde", che a vederlo diresti: impiattamento bello, ma se per la bellezza me porti 3 tentacoli un po' me ce rode. D'altronde se magna coll'occhi ma pure la panza vóle la sua... I dolci erano boni ma avemo provato solo la pannacotta che s'eravamo inquietati.
