Loved this spot :) Never thought I’d say it, but crazily enough, we needed a break from pasta and pizza! Us Canadians love our sushi, so we wandered over to Roshi House for some comfort food. We started off with great cocktails! I had the pear and rum mule and my brother had a kiwi vodka cocktail, both came with fresh fruit. Next, we were served a surprise aperitivo (we MUST adopt this concept in Canada!!) - 6 rolls, a sample of their katsu chicken, and fried wontons filled with salmon, all delicious. We shared sashimi (fresh and melt-in-your-mouth), the rainbow roll (yummy crunchy tempura bits on top), and the ramen (sealed the deal with soya eggs, tender beef, and a warm, clean broth). I had been looking for a place where to eat pad thai for a while and I wasn't disappointed. The sushi quality was also pretty good, even though in my opinion still overpriced. The ramen on the other hand wasn't that great; the noodles were overcooked and the broth was way too light in flavor (I lived in Japan for 5 years and I could definitely feel the difference). Perfect for every occasion. With friends or in couple, or even alone, you will always feel your self like home. Staff is amazing. From cocktails to food they spoil you like a diva.
