Dicaduca — Restaurant in Ascoli Piceno

One of the worst experiences in Italy. We ordered pasta and we waited for MORE than an hour. We asked a few times and nobody even cared. And one of the employees didn’t even wait to listen to us and just walk away.

Disrespectful with clients, totally disorganized and really slow. That’s how this place should promote their service.

Update: We asked for the check and they charged our credit card with the wrong total 😒 they gave us 5€ discount after that and then came here lying for future clients saying that was 35 min wait and we got a discount....

We wanted to give it 3.5 stars.

They serve local dishes. It's fresh made but we expected a bit more. Still, it was of good quality and tasteful. Locals seem to love it. But they make a bit too much noise.

They don't serve local beers. The closest is a beer from Sardinia (!?). But they also serve a Belgian beer (Blanche de Namur, which is one of the best wheat Beers), a Dutch Trappist (also a good beer) and a few others. But why not more local beers?

Ci sediamo in 8 . La cameriera ci accoglie chiedendoci se gradissimo dell’acqua . Ci porta due bottiglie , a tavola ahimè non si rende conto che c’è un solo bicchiere. Va beh può capitare ! Gli chiediamo di portarci i bicchieri mancanti. Ordiniamo degli affettati . Arrivano due taglieri … senza pane. Chiediamo gentilmente di portarci il pane . Arrivano 7 mezze fettine di pane. Chiediamo se possibilmente se ne poteva avere dell’altro.la cameriera guardandoci con disgusto non risponde e ci porta altro pane 4 pezzi. Mai esagerare ! Arriva il momento di ordinare i primi , la cameriere prende le ordinazioni. Arrivano 7 portate anziché 8. Dopo aver atteso un po’ chiediamo se per caso si fossero dimenticati di una tagliatella. Ci rassicurano dicendoci che sta uscendo … Ovviamente questo piatto non sarebbe mai arrivato … annulliamo la richiesta . Alla fine di questo tragicomico pranzo arriva la cameriera per scusarsi di non aver preso correttamente le portate e giustificandosi dicendo che “ Avevamo ordinato un po’ così e che si era tanto impegnata per metterci a disposizione un tavolo … Lascio giudicare voi … non ho mai visto niente di simile e da Ascolano provo vergogna che i nostri turisti possano essere accolti da tanta incompetenza e...
