Ristorante La Douia — Restaurant in Asti

We had lunch at Ristorante La Douia as a group of six, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. The restaurant was quite busy, which immediately gave us the impression that it’s somewhat of a local gem — and judging by the number of locals dining there, that certainly seems to be the case. La Douia offers both a generous buffet option and a full à la carte menu, which gives guests a nice variety depending on their appetite and preference. We decided to order à la carte, and the food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care and high-quality ingredients. From the antipasti to the main courses, everything had that unmistakable homemade Italian touch. There was a small mix-up with the antipasti and primi piatti, but the staff handled it with professionalism and kindness. The service overall was very good — friendly, attentive, and efficient, even with the restaurant being quite full. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with that authentic, local charm that makes you feel instantly welcome. It’s the kind of place where you can tell people come back again and again — not just for the excellent food, but for the genuine hospitality. All in all, Ristorante La Douia is a place we would absolutely return to. Exceptionnal food and amazing service

We found this restaurant by walking around Asti. The welcome was amazing. We were served the best home made food including fresh salad, vittello tonnato with super tasty sauce and anchoise avocado entry. Then we had super home made pasta with black truffle. The best was the end with the best panna cotta I ever ate and a special cheffe made desert salty/sugary cake with pistacho and olive oil. It was super! The personnel is also very welcoming and ultra nice. The white and réd wine is also very good, and the coffee is much better than in France. I will recommend this restaurant to any of my friends visiting Asti. Thank you team for your service. 🙂

Saveurs exceptionnelles, accueil chaleureux,

Nous étions ravis de trouver ce restaurant à Asti. L'accueil était exceptionnel et chaleureux. Les plats étaient succulent avec des saveurs vraiment inédit. Nous avons mangé à salade ultra fraîche, la viande de boeuf avec la sauce au thon et des anchois avec le guacamole spécial à l'entrée. Au plat principal nous avons eu des raviolis fait maison à la truffe blanche. Aussi succulent. Au dessert, nous avons eu une magnifique surprise. J'ai mangé la meilleure panna cotta de ma vie. Enfin nous avons eu le dessert exceptionnel du chef : gâteau à la pistache avec l'huile d'olive sucré/salé. C'était inédit et la saveur est vraiment incroyable. Je recommanderai le restaurant à tous mes amis qui auront la chance de passer par Asti.

Le vin rouge est blanc est choisi avec soin et il est très bon. La qualité du café est exceptionnelle aussi.
