La Formica Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bardolino

We stumbled across this place while on a day visit to Bardolino. They were about to close for a break when we asked for a table but were more than happy to accommodate for us to have some lunch, the staff were so friendly.

The food was delicious and fairly priced, if you're visiting the area I'd definitely recommend stopping for lunch. There were so many overpriced touristy restaurants closer to the water-front that we didn't want to give the time of day and the menu also offers a better selection to choose from. I only rated the atmosphere slightly down due to the restaurant being so quiet as they were about to close for a break.

First of all: tI can't confirm the unfriendly staff many people complain about, we immeadeately got a table and someone was always around. The food was good (although the truffles with little taste the pasta was fresh and the lasagna very tasty), the wine as well and the service quick and friendly. As the restaurant is not in the immediate center, there are fewer tables and less noise which we very much enjoyed.
