Hagakure - Fusion e Sushi — Restaurant in Bari

For a restaurant that’s supposedly the best Japanese spot in Bari, the experience was thoroughly underwhelming. Many of the special items on the menu (like the sea urchin in all its forms) were unavailable; nor were staples of a proper Japanese dining experience, like quality sake or Japanese whiskey, which would have easily set it apart for all the other places around.

As for the food itself, the sushi was nothing special. The freshness just wasn’t there, not for classics like salmon and tuna, not even for the local fish. A few nigiri options had the potential to be interesting but again the quality was just not there.

Overall, I did not understand the hype, this place barely rises above the level of an average all-you-can-eat spot. It falls far short of the standard it claims to uphold so two stars - for the service and a few decent bites - but nowhere near the excellence it is...

Hagakure was my very first sushi restaurant years ago, and even after all this time, it remains the only and best place for contemporary Japanese cuisine. The food is consistently excellent, showcasing a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. The new waitress which unfortunately don’t remember the name, truly makes a difference with her kindness, attentiveness, and expertise. It is simply amazing and sets a standard that other restaurants should aspire to. If you are a tourist thinking to taste the best sushi and Japanese cuisine outside Japan, this is a place that you cannot miss! . Well done, Hagakure—your many years of experience clearly...

Se il paradiso avesse uno stand dedicato al sushi, sicuramente sarebbe gestito da Hagakure. Un'esperienza culinaria che bisognerebbe provare almeno una volta nella vita, perché ti lascia davvero a bocca aperta e con lo stomaco pieno e un turbine di emozioni contrastanti. Addirittura potrebbe dispiacerti mangiare e dire addio a certe bellezze e prelibatezze, d'altra parte dopo essere venuti a mangiare qui non credo sia più possibile accontentarsi del sushi che c'è in giro, fino a quando non avrai dimenticato del tutto questi sapori (Non è così semplice, nemmeno dopo anni). Oltre a questo il servizio è impeccabile, il personale è super preparato e molto gentile e cortese. Non posso consigliare dei piatti, vi consiglio di prenotare una vacanza di 3/4 giorni direttamente per provare tutto. Però posso dire che il Fluffy Roll ha un posto speciale nel mio cuore, ormai dal lontano 2021, e che ogni piatto che ho mangiato, ha un sapore incredibile. AMO TUTTO, e il dolce, nonostante pensassi che non potesse mai competere con il pranzo in sè, ha mantenuto le aspettative create poiché anch'esso era di una bontà...
