Al Corner Bar — Restaurant in Bellagio

I’m really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a latte macchiato and a water. The place was completely empty, with only two other people at the bar, so me and my boyfriend thought we could sit down for a few minutes at the bar chairs and rest while I had a few sips of my drink. Without any prior warning, the staff - especially the woman at the cash desk - told us we had to leave because we ordered takeaway. Nobody mentioned this rule when I ordered, and it felt unnecessarily rude given that the bar was almost empty. I even offered to pay extra if the price was different for dine-in, but she refused and insisted we couldn’t sit. In the end, it wouldn’t make sense to sit down, take a few sips, and then suddenly ask for it to be packed to go. Honestly, it just comes down to communication. If sitting isn’t allowed with takeaway orders, that should not be handled in such an unfriendly way. The whole situation was awkward and unwelcoming, and it left a really bad impression. Really good little cafe/restaurant a little out of town. Stumbled upon it since the parking in front was all we could find on the weekend, but were surprised by how good the drinks and sandwiches were especially for the price which was more than reasonable!
