Wonder Cafe Hamburgeria — Restaurant in Bellano

Buyer beware! This restaurant has unscrupulous business practices with very rude and ignorant racist waiters. Key negative takeaways from this scam house restaurant:

1. I ordered and paid for a takeaway of their wonderburger double beef patty. When I opened the box I was surprised to only see one beef patty, though I paid for a double beef patty.

2. When I called to inform them of the mistake, the lady (who I recognize as the tall lady waiter) refused to acknowledge their mistake and shut down my call. I called few times later which went unanswered. What a shock dealing with horrible cheat and despicable rude waiter! No different from a common thief!

3. Another lady waiter who served me had a very sour look on her face and was giving me strange looks while I was taking some of the sauce packets and made me feel very uncomfortable like I was singled out for being of coloured background, racism? Furthermore, she refused to give me a proper takeaway bag, so rude and totally lacking common sense! Thankfully another waiter gave me a proper bag.

4. Left with an impression this restaurant is more interested to serve Western customers, which was obvious from their different treatment towards other Asian customers.

Cute place the instantly caught our eye. but the food isn't really food, is definitely overpriced and the staff doesn't really want you there.

we came at the afternoon, place was nearly empty ordered the caprese and onion rings and a couple of drinks.

The onion rings were terrible quality, the caprese wasn't caprese. we got slices of a single tomato and a ball of mozzarella. no oil, no salt, no balsamic, no basil. nothing. can't believe I paid 7 Euros for a tomato on a plate. the wine & hot chocolate were nice.

After eating that poor excuse for a vegetable we asked for the wifi password and if it's ok for us to use our laptops for a little bit (we originally came looking for a place to get some work done from). the waiter said it was ok, but after 3 minutes just shut the wifi down without saying anything. yay!

we wanted to pay & get out of there so we could work from somewhere else, and found ourselves standing next to the bar waiting for an extra 10 minutes. wasted money, wasted time, wasted everything. wouldn't...

We spent a week in Bellano and ended up making Wonder Café our go-to spot for morning coffee every single day—and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better start to our days!

The coffee was always spot on—rich, smooth, and perfectly made—but what really made this place special was the incredible staff. A huge shoutout to Aarone and Niccolò, who were both so friendly, welcoming, and just genuinely lovely people. By the end of the week, it felt like we were stopping in to see old friends rather than just grabbing our caffeine fix.

The café itself is clean and modern, but still manages to feel warm and local at the same time. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel instantly comfortable, whether you’re a regular or just passing through.
