LA VENDEMMIA - OSTERIA ALLA FARA - DAMIMMO — Restaurant in Bergamo

This place was really bad. Restaurant is in old city but nobody could speak a word in english, so it was quite difficult to understand each other. Pizza was nothing special but the most terrible thing with this restaurant was couvért.

The couvért for each person was 2,50 €. Don't get ne wrong, if the couvért included good service and little meal (for example in Milano we visited Pizzeria Piz and they got us snack, glass of wine and shot of alcohol - for 2€ couvért), I wouldn't say a word. But here in this restaurant it was just a one plate with bread we didn't even touch at all. We didn't get nothing else and for bread we didn't even eat we paid 12,50€ (there were 5 of us). That is some ridiculous amount of money for terrible service we got.

I don't recommend this restaurant. Value of service and meals in this place are deep under the expectations you have for the prize they...

In un caldo giorno d’estate, quando l’aria tocca i 30 gradi, La Vendemmia riesce a regalare un’oasi di freschezza e accoglienza senza eguali. Situata nella suggestiva Città Alta di Bergamo, quest’osteria conquista dal primo assaggio... e dal primo sorriso.

I Piatti: I casoncelli alla bergamasca sono un trionfo di tradizione, mentre il controfiletto colpisce per qualità e cottura impeccabile. Ad accompagnare il tutto, un Amarone strepitoso che eleva l’intera esperienza gastronomica.

Accoglienza e Servizio: Massimo, il titolare, insieme al suo staff, riesce a creare un’atmosfera familiare, fatta di gentilezza, educazione e simpatia. I piatti arrivano con il giusto ritmo, senza fretta, e senza l’ansia di dover lasciare il tavolo — una coccola rara, oggi.

Atmosfera: Un mix perfetto tra rustico e raffinato, con un fresco sorprendente che rende l’ambiente piacevole anche nelle giornate più torride.

Parcheggio: Comodamente raggiungibile anche in auto, grazie a un parcheggio a pagamento situato a circa 5 minuti a piedi dal locale.

Prezzi: Pur trovandosi in una zona turistica e di pregio come Città Alta, i prezzi sono accessibili, rendendo questa osteria una gemma da scoprire (e riscoprire).

Consigliatissimo: Una tappa obbligata per chi ama la cucina bergamasca autentica e vuole sentirsi coccolato come a casa. Da provare, da vivere,...

Very nicely located restaurant. Cosy place and nice customer service. It is walking distance from Università degli studi di Bergamo - Dipartimento di Scienze Umane e Sociali in Citta Alta, so I would recommend the university visitors to come and give this restaurant a try during their lunch break.
