The Tucans Pub — Restaurant in Bergamo

Just been there this afternoon 23/9/17 Only giving 1 star as can't give less or I would have food terrible ordered fish n chips in guiness batter with mushy peas I've seen bigger fish fingers no joking it was served in a massive dish with no mushy peas present the fish and chips were cold with batter like water when cut into do not under any circumstances ask for it I cannot however comment on any other food at this establishment as I would never return the Aperol spritz what my partner ordered was like water I don't even think there was a splash of Aperol in it what so ever I have actually seen stronger pee samples the guiness however was palatable this is what they nearly have cracked the waitress was an absolute bolshy arrogant person who must not have been to any customer service class what so ever when she returned 20 minutes later to see the food had not been eaten she asked was it good I personally bit my tounge and said no good she went to my partner to ask whilst she was inside and she told her straight about our dissatisfaction about her drink and the food she didn't care one bit we had to pay so we just paid and left €30 for a reasonable pint of guiness please do not go as you will regret it I hope the owner is very angry about this review as If i owned this establishment i truly would be pathetic one of our last meals of our 2 week in different cities around Italy and the you came in bergamo hang your...

As a large family group we visited this bar for food & drinks. We were served by a lovely lady & the aptmosphere was good. Food was basic & little overpriced as you would expect so close to the funicular. 2 days later after walking around the town I was unable to find any public toilets & was desperate so popped in for a wee. The barman was bent down under the bar & i was in a rush so I walked by straight to the toilets. On my way back out, in the loudest voice ever making sure everyone could hear he told me I should not use their toilets if I was not buying anything & should at least pay. I offered to pay but he just shook his head. It was extremely humiliating to be spoken to like that by a young arrogant man & felt like I was back at school with the bullies. In the UK it is law that ladies can use any public toilet. To avoid confusion maybe a sign on the door advising no use of toilets apart from for customers. It was an honest mistake with a high price! My friends and I decided to try out The Tucans Pub after finding all our usual spots too crowded. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining decisions we've ever made.

We ordered the Tuscan burgers, and to our dismay, they arrived with uncooked, pink meat. Concerned for our safety, we promptly returned the burgers and asked for them to be cooked properly. Shockingly, the burgers were sent back to us in the same undercooked condition.

This experience left us extremely disappointed and concerned for our health. If you value your well-being, I strongly advise against dining at pub . The uncooked meat raises serious concerns about the hygiene and quality of their food preparation.
