Old Wild West — Restaurant in Bergamo

Great location. Great decorations. Empty restaurant and the person in charge insisted we sit in a small table (two toddlers and myself) when a booth would have been better for us. So we didn’t stay and taste the food. Ended up at Burger King next door. I totally understand these rules if the restaurant is full. But empty restaurant is simply legalism to me. Sul posto nulla da dire, bello, ordinato e tranquillo (durante la settimana), il cibo generalmente ci sta, nulla di speciale ma buono, forse un po' alti i prezzi per ciò che si mangia. Comunque ci tengo a condividere un'esperienza poco piacevole avuta durante la cena: la cameriera non è stata per niente educata o lontanamente gentile con me e le persone con me presenti. Già dalle ordinazioni ha dato risposte maleducate e si avvertiva nell'aria una certa mancanza di interesse in quello che stava facendo. Successivamente all'arrivo delle portate (diverso tempo dopo le ordinazioni, contando che c'erano solo altri 4/5 tavoli già serviti) la cameriera non si è nemmeno scomodata di portare i piatti a ciascuno di noi, li passava semplicemente al capotavola e gli diceva di passarli a noi altri, idem con le bibite, chiedendo arrogantemente e in modo unilateralmente ironico se qualcuno di noi volesse fare cambio con lei e altre battute poco piacevoli che vi risparmio. Sinceramente quando vado a mangiare all'Old wild west o simili non pretendo assolutamente di essere servito e riverito, ma un minimo di educazione e attenzione in quello che si fa lo si richiede anche al peggiore...

Came here during game day because the tickets were sold out, watched the game on the TV and enjoyed some delicious food and service. Prices were good and the service was even better. The establishment was very cozy and well decorated, seeing the fans walk outside to the gates was fun. Good quality on the TV too.
