Doppio Malto — Restaurant in Bologna

The food was really good and big portions. The beer was fantastic and they'll let you try a couple before you buy a glass to pick the one you really want. It's also a very family friendly place. We went with our young son who is just over one and they were very accommodating. There were plenty of other families there with young children early on Saturday night. I'm not sure how it is at night but until 9 (when we left) it was very nice and pg. The staff could be a bit more knowledgeable about things like which hops are used for different beers and how they compare to other major craft beer choices from around the world, especially as this is a beer geek's paradise...

I recently visited this restaurant and was impressed by the great selection of beers. The menu offered a variety of pub food options, so we chose the sharing platter which was great overall. The ambiance is also unique, with great design and taste. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service. The staff seemed overwhelmed although the place wasn't full and the wait time for anything we asked for was longer than expected. Despite the service issue, I would still recommend this restaurant for the food and beer, but I hope they can improve their service...

Gruppo di 25 persone, ho chiamato personalmente per prenotare alle 22.00 al momento della prenotazione mi fanno notare che la cucina chiude alle 11. Io tranquillamente rispondo va bene il tempo di arrivare essendo una cena aziendale i ragazzi arrivano da tutta l’Emilia Romagna.

Arriviamo puntuali, orario massimo in cui ci siamo seduti 22.15 prendiamo l’ordine e subito arrivano le portate, anche veloci per il numero che eravamo

Poi stop… non si vede più nessuno al tavolo.

11.40 i ragazzi fermano una cameriera, impegnata a fare tutt’altro Chiedono i dolci : “la cucina è chiusa”

Ritorna un’altra ragazza, ipotizzo dal modo, sia una responsabile che sbraita “chi è che ha prenotato? Io l’ho detto che chiude, lavoriamo da stamani”

Aggiungo che mentre mi urlava in faccia davanti a tutti, io le ho continuato di dire di smetterla perché stava facendo una figuraccia terribile, questo l’ho dovuto ripetere molte volte prima che si rendesse conto. Non contenta è passata da un tavolo vicino a raccontare la vicenda. E da lì non si è più presentata.

Ah no, al momento del conto a urlato al direttore Aziendale, “Chi paga il conto!!!” Anche in quel caso gli è stato detto di moderare i toni.

Ci sta, che lo staff della cucina come in ogni ristorante vada via prima, ma non per questo chiusa la cucina via tutti.

Richiedono un acqua: “noi non diamo acqua a mezzanotte stiamo chiudendo”

Modi arroganti e molto presuntuosi. Servizio inesistente. Mi dispiace per il nome della catena che frequentiamo in tutta Italia, ma a Bologna è da rivedere il livello di stress del personale, Natale o non Natale chi va a cena vuole rilassarsi.

Spero che chi legga faccia un esame e eroghi un po’ di formazione al...
