We stayed at the Aemelia Hotel last week (July 21 to 27) so it was natural to try their restaurant. The staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was quite nice and subdued. Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. One night we each had the veal: it was overdone, dry, and tough. I could not finish mine. The second night (we were just so tired our last night in town that we caved and went again), we shared the beef carpaccio and then each had a primi piatti. The carpaccio with senape sauce was perfection (so the 3 stars). My husband had the bolognese tagliatelle and I had the lasagna. The bolognese did not have the depth of flavor that we've come to expect. The lasagna was pretty bad.
