Museum of Zoology — Attraction in Bologna

Italiano: Se volete vedere animali impagliati, organi sezionati e ossa, al Museo Zoologico di Bologna c'è molto da vedere. Ed è gratuito. C'è poco contesto. Al piano superiore del museo c'è una mostra coloniale sulle persone. Vi sono esposti busti di persone reali provenienti dall'Africa e dall'Asia. Una foto mostra come una persona viene legata per ricavarne il calco del viso. Si può anche vedere una capanna che probabilmente è stata rubata alle popolazioni indigene. Alla fine c'è una stanza in cui vengono onorati i responsabili. Si possono anche vedere gli strumenti utilizzati. È una vergogna che una cosa del genere possa essere esposta ancora oggi. La pratica di produrre ed esporre questi reperti è estremamente violenta e coloniale. Rimuoveteli, analizzate la loro storia insieme alle persone colpite e assumetevi la responsabilità!

Deutsch: Wenn man sich ausgestopfte Tiere, präparierte Organe und Knochen ansehen will, bekommt man im Zoologischen Museum in Bologna viel zu sehen. Und zwar kostenlos. Kontext gibt es wenig. Oben im Museum gibt es eine koloniale Ausstellung über Menschen. Dort werden Büsten von echten Menschen aus Afrika und Asien ausgestellt. Ein Bild zeigt wie ein Mensch gefesselt wird, um einen Abdruck des Gesichts zu machen. Außerdem kann man sich eine wahrscheinlich geklaute Hütte von indigenen Menschen anschauen. Am Ende gibt es einen Raum, in dem die Verantwortlichen geehrt werden. Außerdem kann man die Instrumente ansehen, die benutzt wurden. Das so etwas heute noch ausgestellt werden kann, ist eine Schande. Die Praxis der Herstellung sowie des Ausstellens dieser Exponate ist extrem gewaltvoll und kolonial. Entfernt sie, arbeitet eure Geschichte zusammen mit Betroffenen auf und übernehmt Verantwortung!

English: If you want to see stuffed animals, dissected organs and bones, there is plenty to see at the Museum of Zoology in Bologna. And it's free of charge. There is no much context. Upstairs in the museum there is a colonial exhibition about people. Busts of real people from Africa and Asia are on display there. This is a very wonderful museum, it’s very unique and interesting place to visit. Its collection is vast and very well preserved and displayed. There large collections of every type animal, birds and insects. I really enjoyed the time I spent here. I would definitely recommend checking out...

La collezione di Zoologia è sicuramente un museo da non perdere se ci si trova a Bologna, soprattutto nei pressi dell'università.

Adatto a tutte l'età, il museo vi permetterà di scoprire moltissimi animali! 🦏🦍🦌🐯🦁

La collezione si trova all'interno dell'università e l'ingresso, nel nostro caso, è stato gratuito. In aggiunta, vi consiglio di visitare anche i piani superiori dove potrete trovare la collezione di anatomia comparata ed antropologia (sempre gratuitamente).
