Places like Jari are the reason, why I give “only” 4 Stars if I really like a restaurant: There has to be one star left for those truly memorable places that stay on your mind for good. Jari managed this for their Pizza. I never tasted any Pizza that good. The dough is so special, its very tasty and stays the same in taste and consistence no matter if warm or cold. I thought Im not a big fan of whole wheat – well, now I am. We even came back the next day instead of trying another place. The bad side of the story: I will probably compare any future Pizza to the one at Jaris, and – no matter how good – it will end up being “ok” at the most. Besides, the place is very cozy, the service very pleasant, the prizes fair, and – at least when we visited Jari – there were only locals, no other travellers.

It was so good that I closed my eyes to savor it - it certainly made me emotional as I was genuinely happy while eating it! 🥲 I ordered the tartufosa and it was well-cooked and perfectly balanced, the drizzle of truffle oil was just enough to get a hit of one of my favorite flavors without overpowering the other ingredients. Even the charred corners of the pizza added a layer of smoky complexity that tastes of authenticity and tradition.
The service was incredibly good. Riccardo was very friendly and I managed to get a table without a reservation on a Friday night. I got my pizza within less than 10 minutes upon ordering, it was slightly larger than a dinner plate and served unsliced.
The restaurant itself is old-fashioned and charming with a cozy ambiance - they use real tablecloths!
They charge for cutlery and service and the total bill for a pizza and a soft drink was just €15. I was mindblown as I was coming from a trade fair in Rimini where I only got half the amount of mass-produced pizza for the same price.
If you're staying nearby and want authentic Italian pizza, I recommend...

We felt like we were dropped into the centre of a wonderful family dinner. We had planned on going to a Michelin star restaurant steps from our hotel but they did not reply to our emails and when we stopped in they said we should have called. Well, when you don't speak Italian and you're calling from Canada, this is not an easy task. Regardless, we are super happy we found our place at Pizzeria Jari. This little spot is a true gem. We would strongly encourage you to give it a try. Enjoy the food, the family atmosphere and warm fully bellies. For reference we had the Bolognese in Bologna, two pizza, two desserts and a litre of red wine for less than one entree in Venice. Super value. ...
