Criminal! charging people for a membership at the door to a show they already paid for! 👎 👎👎👎👎👎

We went to see Siegfried and Joy last night and I think it was both the best magic show and funniest comedy show I’ve ever seen. Totally worth going to see. Really entertaining!

Unfortunately, on arriving the Locomotive Club told everyone in the line we had to be club members to enter, despite having bought tickets to the show. They insisted we scan a QR code on the side of the club and sign up online and pay €8.50 each for a club membership. To say I was ticked off would be an understatement and let them know it. Of course the guy telling us this says “sorry, I don’t make the rules”. They always send someone to deal with the public who doesn’t make the rules. Why don’t the peope who make the rules ever come talk to peope? Hmmm 🤔 So, you are there with your tickets trying to enjoy an evening then forced to sign up for something on your mobile phone in the rain. This is an example of the problem with this digital age. Expecting everyone to have a phone with them and charged at all time, to scan codes, or just having an extra €8 to spend. Some of us seriously don’t have extra money to spare and rarely go out because of it… forced to pay for something you don’t want to get what you already paid for. Even after purchasing the tickets online, we were forced to download a specific app to access them and then the ticket QR codes do not become available until 2 hours before the show. It’s always complicated in Italy, every single concert or show is problematic with tickets, times, and lineups. It’s unreal. Of course if we didn’t pay there would be no refund of tickets as the tickets are sold separately from the club. And, signing up online didn’t work so I am then forced to pay for the membership inside the door. Ridiculous. This is criminal in my opinion and I let them know it and others in the line felt the same way and expressed it. What a way to ruin a fun evening. Don’t ever go to the Lockomotive Club in Bologna! Club managers, you should be ashamed of yourselves for doing this to...

The club has an okay atmosphere; however, you are obliged to pay for a card before entry; mind you, that is still so even if you booked a ticket to an event. And apps like DICE do not inform you prior to the event, so you end up paying that 8€ card fee anyway. The thing that is even more absurd is that they obliged me to renew my card that I got 6 months ago, saying that it had expired! Apparently they count from September to September... So, even if you get your card right before September and you are attending another show after September, you'd have to renew your card, whereas they should have put the date exactly when you got your card and count for one year, which would have been much more reasonable... One last thing, they do not issue receipts when you purchase their cards, which is obviously...

The "THING" is - it was most disappointing when we came from Bavaria especially to see the best Italian bands, having a valid ticket but "No Membership". 😭😭😭 At 22:30 we managed to get this, payed for it and were allowed to enter. The wonderful Black Ball Boogie and half of Lovesick was done at this time. But!!! still 4 stars because this is a club that we really enjoyed after all. ... and of course the musicians ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ They could have had higher prices for non-members or what so ever ... We arrived at noontime and came...
