We decided to try this pizzeria based on good Google reviews and the fact that it’s located away from the busy city centre. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite live up to expectations.
There were only two people working—one chef and one person handling everything else: taking orders, managing bookings, payments, and even helping with food preparation. While we appreciated the effort, the service felt quite unprofessional. Our server wrote down our order but forgot to bring our drinks until we reminded him. He also had to come back to ask what pizzas we ordered.
We went for the Salame Piccante and the Leggera (vegan). The vegan pizza was actually very tasty and well-balanced. However, the Salame Piccante was extremely oily - the toppings were sliding off and it looked more like a soup than a pizza. We appreciated that they offered to replace it with a plain Margherita, which was much better.
There were also some issues with modifications - we asked for no onions, but they were still included. While they did offer to make it again, we ended up picking them off ourselves and swapping for a simpler option due to how greasy the food was overall.
The atmosphere lacked ambiance, with no music and no alcohol licence, which may matter to some. All in all, it wasn’t a disaster, but definitely not a highlight. Go for the vegan pizza, skip the salami, and maybe bring your own...
Read moreI wanted to write a review because I think the last few were pretty harsh compared to my food experience there today. This is a decent place to get pizza, the ingredients were fresh, the crust was far better than recent reviews suggest (read: not dense or doughy, light with some chew). I would probably skip the lasagne but the mediterranea and the quattro frommagio were both solid pizzas for an above average pizza. The fresh pressed juice was delicious. I'd recommend this place in a pinch. It is not a place to go for ambiance but is a...
(A proposito: cerca personale!) Ne...
