Brodellini — Restaurant in Bologna

We were looking for tortellini en brodo, close to our hotel, and the reviews were great. The wait was long, but the people were great. Unfortunately, our pasta was more than al dente, it was unpleasantly undercooked. The tagliatelle with ragu had was so dry, that combined with being undercooked, we threw all 3 pasta dishes away. The tortellini en brodo was helped by the broth, but with only one meal out of 4 edible, and having used our available time waiting, we're having to go without dinner. Had our last dinner in Bologna here and what a find! Homely, halal, delicious. Fresh pasta, made with care, served al dente with recommended sauces. Excellent choice of meats, which we ended up buying extra of to take home with us. Friendly, authentic and helpful service from Omar and Bilal, two gems bringing halal Italian cuisine for those who won’t normally be able to access it due to pork content. Limited seating which is a stool/bench set up. But so much promise from this place, and will be top on my list to visit again next time...

Absolutely loved my experience at Brodellini! The food is exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and 100% halal.
