Bracerie Escosazio — Restaurant in Brindisi

The meat is extremely tasty... but a small warning if you are not Italian and aren't used to this kind of restaurant where you choose the meat, be careful going here because it's a bit confusing. But having said that we had a lovely waitress who was very friendly unfortunately she was absolutely rushed off her feet she was the only one working for most of our stay. Sidea: vegetables were pretty average chips were amazing though. If you're a foreigner or a wine connoisseur know that the house wine in jugs is served very very cold and you aren't going to get a nice elegant glass (we had beer glasses) so better to buy by the bottle it comes at room...

Very nice restaurant in the covered market area of Brindisi. Ilario our waiter was attentive and personal. Our meat selection was perfect! Ordered at the counter and had veggies and sides ordered at the table. There was a little confusion with the order but it was quickly corrected and so delicious.

We has steak, and pork with saltimbocco and pork with gorgonzola both in rolled forms but oh so tasty.

They also have quite a few wines to choose from too. Nice atmosphere and busy restaurant with click decor. I think the wrong time on each clock was funny and kind of neat...who cares what time it is when good food and good friends...

L'idea di scegliere il pezzo di carne al bancone della macelleria e ritrovarselo dopo qualche decina di minuti ben cotto al tavolo, ammetto che è molto allettante; motivo per cui mi sono fermata a cenare in questo ristorante, non una sera bensì due, per provare più piatti e cercare di capire se c'era qualcosa di veramente buono. La prima sera, avendo tantissima voglia di salsiccia, prendo 3 etti di salsiccia norcina e altrettanti di salsiccia siciliana. La prima abbastanza buona mi ha stancato velocemente (cosa molto strana perché di solito ne mangerei a quintali... Qualche conservante di troppo???). Quella siciliana immangiabile... Normalmente questa tipologia di salsiccia è arricchita dal finocchietto ma ahimè questa prevedeva prezzemolo e pomodori al suo interno, connubio interessante ma fatto malissimo... Per quanto riguarda il servizio, direi scadente visto che ci hanno portato un'acqua intensamente frizzante riempita di acqua normale probabilmente di lavandino (abbiamo potuto fare il confronto solo quando abbiamo riordinato la stessa acqua il giorno dopo) e che non venivano mai a prendere l'ordinazione per gli antipasti... Ritorno la sera dopo, su consiglio di un conoscente che mi spinge a provare le polpette pugliesi... Sarò abituata a piatti diversi ma non mi sono affatto piaciute, tanto da averle dovute lasciare nel piatto con grande dispiacere... Persino le patate sapevano...
