Ristorante le 2 Isole — Restaurant in Cagliari

We spontaneously walked by this softly hidden gem and luckily decided to eat in.

Even though they were approaching their break they happily invited us to take a seat. The place was comfortably visited with just one table empty, lots of locals enjoying in an unforgettable hospital atmosphere.

The chef and the waiters speak multiple languages and are extremely polite and interested in their guests. Their presence alone was purely pleasant.

But what really made the day was the food. Every meal cooked fresh, pasta fresh, fish fresh. It was an incredible experience for all senses to have this magnificent cuisine. We ate different fish dishes and side veggies. Everything was just incredibly delicious and on its own level. I rarely had a lunch experience that was both luxurious and familiar at once.

Thanks for the ingenious lunch experience accompanied by always attentive and very polite waiters. If you have the chance try to eat here...

You don’t have to be mindful towards the food because they will make you mindful and present immediately!

As many have shared, Chef Cappadponna and the staff were incredibly friendly. The chef came out personally to recommend the menu as I spoke no Italian.

I ordered the seabass and calamari and the burst of flavour in my mouth was so overwhelming that I was 100% focused on the food and became oblivious to everything else.

The ambience of the restaurant was incredible too. I’ll definitely return to try other things...

SQUISITO!! Ieri ho voluto fare una sorpresa al mio fidanzato per il compleanno e ho ordinato il pranzo da asporto alle “ 2 isole” e lo abbiamo gustato di fronte al mare. Nel tragitto il cibo ha riempito l’auto di un profumo pazzesco di frittura di pesce che sapete bene che se l’olio è stra usato dall’odore te ne accorgi subito!

Abbiamo preso 2 antipasti, insalata di polpo che era freschissimo e tonno marinato con arancia e rucola, il tonno gustato con l’arancia un sapore fresco e saporitissimo ne avrei mangiato a chili, marinatura perfetta persino le verdure di “sottofondo” erano gustosissime!! Un piacere per il palato!

Come primo Calamarata x 2 molto saporita e per secondo un’eccezionale frittura mista con calamari( e non solo anelli pretagliati e sbiancati) gamberi e pesciolini tutto freschissimo e poco oleoso! Tengo a precisare che avendo preso asporto era tutto dentro confezioni di plastica e nonostante ciò era tutto perfetto, a volte mangi fritture di “plastica” servite al momento nei piatti di ceramica!!

E per concludere in bellezza due dolci che hanno chiuso il pranzo in maniera sublime, il cannolo siciliano, croccantissima, friabile e profumata la sfoglia e gustosissimo e fresco il ripieno di ricotta! Un tortino al cioccolato anche questo pazzesco davvero, si sentiva che era tutto FRESCHISSIMO e genuino devo dire che ho fatto un figurone e ci siamo gustati il nostro pranzo col sorriso super soddisfatti.
