Sala Da Tè — Restaurant in Calcata

I never come back twice to the same place with the exception of this one. This place is sooo cozy and unique in my opinion. I feel like being hosted by an old lady who offers tea and her home made cake on this secret terrace. The second time, I had also the chance to observe the house details and it js just so perfectly made: it is like a museum which I could honestly watch for hours, 500 tea pods and everything makes you feel the lady’s passion for tea. The prices have increased a bit since last time (tea 5 euros) but I do not really mind. What I mind is the service: last time, the lady was alone but this time the girl working was not making customers feeling comfortable, ruining the atmosphere completely…. It is a shame cause the place is so relaxing and with her “jokes” you do not feel this atmosphere anymore. Overall...

Although the place is beautiful the service was extremely bad. It's a total theft: we took one tea for 5€ and they ended charging us 10€ just because we were a couple. But there was only one bag of tea. Super deceived of this cheating. The tea was nothing special and the waitresses were quite rude. It's a pitty there's such a horrible service in such a nice place. NOT recommended....

Dopo una breve visita del borgo,un po’ per curiosità un po’ per l orario,abbiamo deciso di fare un aperitivo. Purtroppo gran parte dei locali erano chiusi e l’unico posto aperto era il “101 te”. Incuriositi dall ingresso leggiamo che il posto prevedeva anche gli aperitivi, senza nessuna specifica di componenti e prezzo ,oltre ad una terrazza con vista panoramica. Decidiamo allora di entrare e troviamo una signora che ci accoglie e fa accomodare in terrazza. Il locale si presenta come una casetta rivisitata,con soppalco adiacente al terrazzino. Piccolo ma accogliente, così come il posto in sè. Dopo una breve attesa, ci vengono serviti in diverse tazzine da te gli spuntini dell’ aperitivo oltre ad un flûte di prosecco. C’erano : dei taralli,dei gamberetti con maionese e pomodorini,dei grissini con una salsa “particolare” ,delle olive e della feta. Un aperitivo un po’ datato, ma considerando la caratteristica non che specialità del posto :il te, è stato tuttavia un buon aperitivo. I prezzi poi sono stati senz’altro adeguati, 6...
