Literally Just Don’t Go

This place was a mess from the jump. We had a reservation for 10 people, and they set the table for 9. When they finally brought another chair, the layout was so bad that four of us were stuck sitting right on top of the table legs. Super uncomfortable and just sloppy.

The food? Honestly awful. Everything was super oily, looked gross, and tasted like it was straight out of the freezer. Definitely not worth what they’re charging. Nothing felt fresh or even made with the slightest bit of care.

Service was just as annoying. We asked if they could add burrata to a pasta dish (like… not a crazy request), and they straight-up said no. Zero flexibility, no effort to accommodate anything. On top of that, their delivery timing was all over the place – super unreliable.

The vibe wasn’t any better. The glass I was drinking from smelled disgusting – like wet dog mixed with chlorine. You can’t un-smell that. The street noise was super loud too, so forget about having a chill dinner. And to top it all off, random people kept coming up to the table trying to sell flowers. Constant interruptions.

Very unpleasant experience, defenitely not recommended! The old waiter’s behaviour was outrageous first even though we all wanted to eat pasta, he told us we have to wait for those more than an hour, but we can choose from the more expensive seafood, which was strange already but ok. He was keep pushing us to choose in a very rude way, haven’t really speak english. I ordered grilled prawns, what I got I couldn’t believe! There was a few small prawns on my plate defenitely overcooked (the legs were actually burnt) . I couldn’t take off the shell properly (half of the meat was coming off with it) at the end there was 2 -3 bites left on my plate, and all those for twenty-something euro. I asked the waiter to send someone who speaks english, then there were 2 waitress ,the chef and a manager all telling me that this is normal. Their behaviour was outrageous (except one waitress who was the only one speaking proper english) they absolutely was thinking and acting like I was stupid. A cozy restaurant and delicious food. Unfortunately only 2 stars due to poor coordination in the kitchen, and a very aggressive "head waiter" I think she was. My wife had a spaghetti carbonara and I had a pizza. Spaghetti carbonara came relatively quickly, but as my pizza had not arrived after some time, I contacted the staff as I wanted to eat at the same time as my wife. I don't think it's rocket science to wait to make/serve carbonara so that it arrives at the same time as pizza. However, the very aggressive "head waiter" believed that it was due to many guests and lack of staff rather than poor coordination!!!!! I was expecting an apology and a new carbonara with my pizza. But I was told that I should relax and not stress about the lack of food....... Maybe the lack of staff could be attributed to bad management? Anyway when my wife was almost finished I got my pizza, fortunately the food tasted good, although I would think that the head waiter must have a bad taste...
